Vienna Teng
Cynthia Yih Shih (born October 3, 1978, Saratoga, California), better known by her stage name Vienna Teng, is an American pianist and singer-songwriter who was based in Detroit, Michigan and now lives in Washington, DC. Teng has released five studio albums: '' Waking Hour'' (2002), ''Warm Strangers'' (2004), '' Dreaming Through the Noise'' (2006), ''Inland Territory'' (2009) and '' Aims'' (2013). Pop Folk
Folk-pop is a musical style that may be 1) contemporary folk songs with large, sweeping pop arrangements, or 2) pop songs with intimate, acoustic-based folk arrangements. Acoustic Rock
Acoustic music is music that solely or primarily uses instruments that produce sound through acoustic means, as opposed to electric or electronic means. While all music was once acoustic, the retronym "acoustic music" appeared after the advent of electric instruments, such as the electric guitar, electric violin, electric organ and synthesizer. Acoustic string instrumentations had long been a subset of popular music, particularly in folk. Alex Wong (producer, Musician)
Alex Liang Wong (born 1974) is an American record producer, multi-instrumentalist (including guitar, piano, drums, waterphone), and singer-songwriter based in Nashville, Tennessee. Wong released his first solo studio album, ''A City on a Lake'', in (2012). He has written, co-written, produced, and performed on numerous other albums; a partial list appears below in the Discography section. For his engineering contribution to "Aire soy", track 2 of Miguel Bosé's 2012 album ''Papitwo'', Wong received Latin Grammynomination. Career Wong began his career in 1997 when he joined The Din Pedals. Chosen for his classically trained percussion skills, Wong replaced James Grundler on the drums, with Grundler becoming the front-man for the group. The Second Supper
The Second Supper was a web site and newspaper published in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The newspaper was published weekly from its headquarters in Downtown La Crosse. Originally created as a satirical newspaper, The Second Supper has since 2007 become more focused on local interest stories. Weekly issues include music, new films, cult classics, and book reviews, as well as Q&A's with established and up and coming musicians such as Hanson, Wes Borland, Killdozer, Julien-K, and Freezepop. Local interest stories and editorial columns take up the main share of content, often sticking to a universal theme for the week's issue. The Second Supper has had its share of controversy. Stereophonic sound, or more commonly stereo, is a method of sound reproduction that recreates a multi-directional, 3-dimensional audible perspective. This is usually achieved by using two independent audio channels through a configuration of two loudspeakers (or stereo headphones) in such a way as to create the impression of sound heard from various directions, as in natural hearing.
