''Ingegerd'' (less commonly in the variant ''Ingegärd'') was most popularly given in modern Sweden during the 1920s to 1930s, but the name remains in wide use today. Inkeri Anttila
Sylvi Inkeri Anttila ( Metsämies; 29 November 1916 – 6 July 2013) was a Finnish jurist and criminologist who was the Minister of Justice of Finland during the caretaker government of Keijo Liinamaa in 1975. She studied criminal law at the University of Helsinki, becoming the first woman in Finland to receive a doctorate in law in 1946 and the first female professor of criminal law in Finland in 1961. Early life and education Sylvi Inkeri Metsämies was born on 29 November 1916 in Viipuri, Finland. She was the only child of Veini Metsämies, a lawyer, and Sylvi Airio, a musician. Metsämies graduated from high school in 1933 and attended the Faculty of Law at the University of Helsinki. She married Sulo Anttila, a pulmonologist, on 8 December 1934; they had three children born between 1938 and 1944. Inkeri Lehtinen (1908–1997) was a Finnish communist politician. She served as the education minister of the Terijoki government during the Finnish Democratic Republic. She was among the significant Finnish women politicians during the post-World War II period. Biography Lehtinen was born in Helsinki on 7 March 1908. Her parents were the supporters of the Marxist–Leninist ideology. Between 1925 and 1945 she held different posts in the Soviet Union and Finland. She was a member of the Communist Party of Finland being one of its leaders in the period 1939–1969. In the late 1930s she was among the contributors of a magazine entitled ''Soihtu'' published by a group of young left-wing figures who were removed from the Party in 1937. This group was headed by Mauri Ryömä. In her writings Lehtinen criticized Ryömä due to his closeness to the Finnish government.
