Inio Asano
is a Japanese manga artist. Asano created the acclaimed manga '' Solanin'', which was released as a feature film in Japan in April 2010, starring Aoi Miyazaki. He is also famous for the series ''Goodnight Punpun''. Known for creating character-driven, realist stories, ranging from slice of life to psychological horror, Asano won first prize in the 2001 GX competition for young manga artists. Toronto Comic Arts Festival
The Toronto Comic Arts Festival (TCAF) is a comic book festival held annually in Toronto, Ontario. Founded in 2003, TCAF has grown to become one of the world’s largest festivals dedicated to the promotion and appreciation of comic arts. Programming TCAF focuses on alternative and independent comics, but includes other creative arts besides comics. Unlike traditional comic book conventions, TCAF is modeled off of independent comic festivals and art book fairs such as the Angoulême International Comics Festival and Small Press Expo. Downfall (manga)
is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Inio Asano. It was serialized in Shogakukan's ''seinen'' manga magazine ''Big Comic Superior'' from March to July 2017, with its chapters collected in a single ''tankōbon'' volume. A live action film adaptation is set to premiere in March 2023. The is one of Japan's major manga awards, and is sponsored by Shogakukan Publishing. It has been awarded annually for serialized manga and features candidates from a number of publishers. It is the oldest manga award in Japan, being given since 1955. is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Inio Asano. It is about the events that occur after a girl is thrown into a well by her classmates and their lives afterwards. Plot The story jumps back and forth between years and events, allowing the reader to piece together how the nonlinear events are correlated.
