Ingólfur Þórarinsson
Ingólfur Þórarinsson (born 31 May 1986), commonly known as Ingó Veðurguð (''Ingó the Weather God''), is an Icelandic singer and songwriter and a former footballer. He plays with the band Ingó og Veðurguðirnir, best known for the 2008 hit song "Bahama" and the 2009 song "Gestalistinn". Football career Club career Ingólfur started his career with local club Selfoss before signing with Örgryte IS in September 2003. Things didn't work out in Sweden and he came back to Selfoss in March 2004. In February 2005 Ingólfur signed with Fram after attracting interest from clubs like Fylkir, ÍBV and Valur. Ingólfur only played 8 games for Fram and signed again for Selfoss in January 2007. Ingólfur was part of the Selfoss team who gained promotion to the top-tier Úrvalsdeild karla for the first time in the club's history in 2009. Selfoss () is a town in southern Iceland on the banks of the Ölfusá river. It is the seat of the municipality of Árborg. Íþróttabandalag Vestmannaeyja (ÍBV) is an Icelandic multi-sports district association from Vestmannaeyjar off the south coast of Iceland. It was founded in 1903 as Fótboltafélag Vestmannaeyja by Björgúlfur Ólafsson, military doctor for the Dutch army. It was soon renamed to Knattspyrnufélag Vestmannaeyja (KV) and then to Íþróttabandalag Vestmannaeyja (ÍBV) héraðssamband in 1945. ÍBV played as KV in the first Icelandic first league tournament in 1912. There have been formed several association entities with the ÍBV name to manage various of sports. Guðmundur "Gudi" Þórarinsson (born 15 April 1992) is an Icelandic professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Super League Greece club OFI. He is also a well known singer in his homeland Iceland. "Is It True?" is a song by Icelandic singer Yohanna, the entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow, Russia. The song was composed by Óskar Páll Sveinsson and won second place in the contest. The song was also recorded in Spanish ("Si te vas"), German ("War es nur"), Russian ("" / "Ya ne splyu") and French ("Si tu sais"). The Nordic Under-17 Football Championship (also Nordic Under-17 Tournament or Nordic Cup, sv, Nordisk Pojkturnering) is an open Nordic countries, Nordic championship tournament for under-17 national association football, football teams. The competition has been held annually since 1975, exceptions being years 1981 and 1983. It has been an "under-17" event since 2005.
