Ingrid Margareta Carlberg, (born 30 November 1961) is a Swedish author and journalist. She was elected into the Swedish Academy on 13 October 2020, filling the last vacant post in the academy. Swedish Citizenship
Swedish nationality law determines entitlement to Swedish citizenship. Citizenship of Sweden is based primarily on the principle of ''jus sanguinis''. In other words, citizenship is conferred primarily by birth to a Swedish parent, irrespective of place of birth. In general, children born in Sweden to foreign parents do not acquire Swedish citizenship at birth, although if they remain resident in Sweden they may become citizens later on. Swedish law was significantly amended with effect from 1 July 2001 and from that date, dual citizenship is permitted without restriction. Pär Anders Nuder (born 27 February 1963) is a Swedish Social Democratic politician. He served as Minister for Finance from 2004 to 2006, Minister for Policy Coordination and State Secretary and Chief of Staff to Prime Minister Göran Persson 1997–2002. Today he serves as chairman of the Third Swedish National Pension Fund (AP3), one of Sweden's leading pension companies AMF and Hemsö, and on the board of several Nordic companies. Nils Göran David Malmqvist (6 June 1924 – 17 October 2019) was a Swedish linguist, literary historian, sinologist and translator. He was also a member of the Swedish Academy between 1985 and 2019. Biography Göran Malmqvist was born on 6 June 1924, in Jönköping, Sweden. Following introductory studies of Chinese under Sinologist Bernhard Karlgren at Stockholm University, Malmqvist studied in China in 1948–1950. He then returned to Stockholm, taking a Licentiate of Arts degree in 1951. His international research career started shortly thereafter with a lectureship in Chinese at the University of London in 1953–1955.
