Ingram Independent School District
Ingram Independent School District is a public school district based in Ingram, Texas, United States. The first school building opened in 1936. Ingram ISD has grown into a three campus district providing education for the citizens of Ingram (and the surrounding communities), population of approximately 1,870. Ingram's Secondary campus accommodates Ingram residents as well as middle and high school-aged residents from Divide Independent School District, and Hunt Independent School District. Ingram ISD, with an open transfer policy, accepts requests from students all over the Texas hill-country without an attendance fee. The transfer rate, from neighboring school districts, has steadily grown since the 2012-2013 school year, from 9% to 15% due to the numerous changes implemented with the support of the district administrators, school board members, and campus staff. Kerr County, Texas
Kerr County is a county located on the Edwards Plateau in the U.S. state of Texas. As of the 2020 census, its population was 52,598. Its county seat is Kerrville. The county was named by Joshua D. Brown for his fellow Kentucky native, James Kerr, a congressman of the Republic of Texas. The Kerrville, TX Micropolitan Statistical Area includes all of Kerr County. Ingram Tom Moore High School
Ingram Tom Moore High School is a small public high school in Ingram, Texas, USA serving grades 9– 12. It is the only high school in the Ingram Independent School District, and is attended by students from West Kerr County. Built in 1976, ITMHS opened in 1980 as the first school in west Kerr County and was named at the request of Tom Moore, who donated the land it rests on today. As of the 2015 school year, the school has an enrollment of 451 students, which places Ingram in the 3A class when competing in University Interscholastic League (UIL). Ingram is a city in Kerr County, Texas, United States. The population was 1,804 at the 2010 census. Geography Ingram is located in eastern Kerr County at (30.076903, –99.237367), on the Guadalupe River in the Texas Hill Country. It is west of Kerrville and northwest of San Antonio. Texas State Highway 27 passes through the center of town, leading east to Kerrville and northwest to Mountain Home. Texas State Highway 39 runs west from Ingram to Hunt. Divide Independent School District is a public school district based in the community of Mountain Home in western Kerr County, Texas, United States. In terms of students served, Divide ISD is the smallest district in Texas; the 2015 "graduation/promotion ceremony" featured a mere 11 students and the district had as few as eight students at the beginning of the 2014–2015 school year. Divide ISD serves much of western Kerr County. Divide ISD is one of the few remaining schools called " one room schoolhouses" in the United States.
