Brandon Xavier Ingram (born September 2, 1997) is an American professional basketball player for the New Orleans Pelicans of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was selected by the Los Angeles Lakers with the second overall pick in the 2016 NBA draft, and was named to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team. He was traded to New Orleans and became a first-time NBA All-Star and was named the NBA Most Improved Player in 2020 during his first season with the Pelicans. Ingram had a successful high school career in North Carolina, where he won state titles each of his four years of high school and was named North Carolina's Mr. Basketball. Cliff Raven Ingram (August 24, 1932 – November 28, 2001) was one of a handful of tattoo artists (along with Sailor Jerry Collins and Don Ed Hardy) who pioneered the adoption of the Japanese tattoo aesthetic in the United States. Clara Ingram Judson (May 4, 1879 – May 24, 1960) was an American writer who wrote over 70 children's books, primarily nonfiction including several biographies of American presidents. In 1960, she won the second Laura Ingalls Wilder Medal from the professional children's librarians, although she died before she could receive it. Charles William Ingram (born 6 August 1963) is an English novelist and former British Army major who gained notoriety for his appearance on the ITV television game show ''Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?''. In episodes recorded in September 2001, Ingram correctly answered fifteen questions to win the show's maximum prize of £1 million, becoming the third recorded contestant to ever do so. However, he was denied the winnings due to suspicion of cheating. Charles Penfold Ingram (24 April 1833 – 20 August 1868) was an English doctor of medicine and a cricketer who played first-class cricket for Cambridge University in 1854 and 1859. The son of Hugh Ingram (1790-1863), a surgeon, and his wife Mary Bostock (1796-1879), he was born at Steyning in Sussex and died there as well. Ingram played as a lower order batsman and bowler for Cambridge against the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) in June 1854, scoring 14 and 10 and taking a single wicket; after this, he was picked for the 1854 University match against Oxford University where he played as an opening batsman, scoring 4 and 2, and did not bowl. Charles Ingram, 9th Viscount of Irvine (19 March 1727 – 27 June 1778), known as Charles Ingram until 1763, was a British landowner, politician and courtier. He succeeded his uncle to the Viscountcy and the Temple Newsam estate in Leeds in 1763. Ingram was the son of Colonel the Honourable Charles Ingram, seventh son of Arthur Ingram, 3rd Viscount of Irvine. His mother was Elizabeth Scarborough, daughter and heiress of Charles Scarborough, of Windsor, Berkshire. Charles Ingram (British Army Officer)
Colonel the Honourable Charles Ingram (27 March 1696 – 28 November 1748), was a British soldier and politician. Ingram was the seventh of the nine sons of Arthur Ingram, 3rd Viscount of Irvine (known as Irwin in England), by Isabella Machel, daughter of John Machell, Member of Parliament for Horsham, of Hills, Sussex. He was a general in the British Army. In 1737 he was returned to Parliament for Horsham (succeeding his elder brother Henry), a seat he held until his death. Ingram married Elizabeth Brace, née Scarborough, widow of Francis Brace, sister of Ann, the wife of his brother Henry, and daughter and co-heiress of Charles Scarborough, Clerk of the Board of Green Cloth, of Windsor, Berkshire, in 1726.
