Ingolf Mork
Ingolf Mork (4 June 1947 – 1 February 2012) was a Norwegian ski jumper who was born in Molde, and represented IL Hjelset-Fram and SFK Lyn in Oslo. He won the Four Hills Tournament in 1972, and had two victories in the Holmenkollen (1971 and 1972). In 1973, Mork received the Holmenkollen medal (shared with Einar Bergsland and Franz Keller). A ski is a narrow strip of semi-rigid material worn underfoot to glide over snow. Franz Keller (skier)
Franz Keller (; born 19 January 1945) was a West German nordic combined skier. At the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble, he won the gold medal in the individual event. Keller also won a silver at the 1966 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in the individual event and won the event at the Holmenkollen ski festival in 1967. Ski Jumping
Ski jumping is a winter sport in which competitors aim to achieve the farthest jump after sliding down on their skis from a specially designed curved ramp. Along with jump length, competitor's aerial style and other factors also affect the final score. Ski jumping was first contested in Norway in the late 19th century, and later spread through Europe and North America in the early 20th century. Along with cross-country skiing, it constitutes the traditional group of Nordic skiing disciplines. The ski jumping venue, commonly referred to as a ''hill'', consists of the jumping ramp (''in-run''), take-off table, and a landing hill. Each jump is evaluated according to the distance traveled and the style performed. The distance score is related to the construction point (also known as the ''K-point''), which is a line drawn in the landing area and serves as a "target" for the competitors to reach.
