''Ingmar's Inheritance'' (Swedish: ''Ingmarsarvet'') is a 1925 Swedish silent drama film directed by Gustaf Molander and starring Lars Hanson, Conrad Veidt and John Ekman.Hjort & Lindqvist p.253 It was shot at the Råsunda Studios in Stockholm and on location in Dalarna. The film's sets were designed by the art director Vilhelm Bryde. Gustaf Molander
Gustaf Harald August Molander (18 November 1888 – 19 June 1973) was a Sweden, Swedish actor and film director. His parents were director Harald Molander, Sr. (1858–1900) and singer and actress Lydia Molander, ''née'' Wessler, and his brother was the director Olof Molander (1892–1966). He was the father of director and producer Harald Molander from his first marriage to actress Karin Molander and father to actor Jan Molander from his second marriage to Elsa Fahlberg (1892–1977). Gustaf Molander was born in Helsinki, Helsingfors (now Helsinki) in the Grand Duchy of Finland (in the Russian Empire), where his father was working at the Swedish Theatre. He studied in the school of the Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm 1907–1909, acted at the Swedish theatre in Helsingfors 1909–1913, and then at the Royal Dramatic Theatre from 1913 to 1926. Råsunda Studios
Filmstaden was a film studio situated in Råsunda, Solna Municipality in Stockholm, Sweden. History Filmstaden was once one of the most modern film studios in Europe. It was built in 1919–1920 on the basis of designs by Swedish architect Ebbe Crone (1885-1960). It was owned and operated by SF Studios (''Svensk Filmindustri''), the main Swedish film producer at the time. Some 400 movies have been created at Filmstaden. The first movie to be filmed at Filmstaden was ''The Phantom Carriage'' (''Körkarlen''. 1921) by director Victor Sjöström. Practically all Swedish actors and film directors of the 20th century had some connection with Filmstaden. In 1969, Svensk Filmindustri left Filmstaden and the studios were used by small film producers, production of television dramas and the ''Riksteatern'' Theatre. Monica Ingeborg Elisabeth "Mona" Mårtenson (4 May 1902 – 8 July 1956) was a Swedish film actress. She appeared in 28 films between 1923 and 1949. She was born and died in Stockholm, Sweden. Early career Mona grew up in Helsingborg and studied at the Dramatens elevskola (Royal Dramatic Theater Academy). She made her first film appearance in ''Anderssonskans Kalle på nya upptåg'' (''Kalle Anderssonskan's New Pranks'', 1923) directed by Sigurd Wallén. Mathias Taube
Mathias ″Mattis″ Taube (21 September 1876 – 23 June 1934) was a Swedish actor and artist. Taube made his film debut in 1916, and came to participate in more than 20 films. Biography Mathias Taube was born in Lindesberg on 21 September 1876. He was the son of Axel Taube and Johanna Matilda, born Törnsten. He married on 9 May 1911 in Copenhagen the journalist Ella Ekman-Hansen, with whom he had a daughter and a son, the actor Aino Taube. He was a cousin of Evert Taube, and when Evert came to Stockholm he often stayed with his cousin Mathias. He got there artistic inspiration and was also introduced to the circle of friends of Mathias and his sister Sigrid. Mathias Taube died on 23 June 1934 in Stockholm.
