Ingleside is a suburb in Northern Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Ingleside is located 28 kilometres north of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of Northern Beaches Council. Ingleside is part of the Forest District region, about 2 kilometres from the coast at Mona Vale. Ingleside Heights and Tumbledown Dick are localities in the west of the suburb. Ingleside is a historic house located near Iron Station, Lincoln County, North Carolina. It was built about 1817, and is a two-story, five bay by three bay, Federal style brick mansion. Ingleside on the Bay is a city in San Patricio County, Texas, United States. The population was 615 at the 2010 census. Geography Ingleside on the Bay is located at (27.828753, –97.221723). According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.3 square mile (0.8 km2), of which 0.3 square mile (0.8 km2) is land and 3.23% is water. Demographics As of the census of 2000, there were 659 people, 260 households, and 199 families residing in the city. The population density was 2,218.6 people per square mile (848.1/km2). There were 304 housing units at an average density of 1,023.4 per square mile (391.3/km2). Ingleside Line
The K Ingleside is a light rail line of the Muni Metro system in San Francisco, California. It mainly serves the West Portal and Ingleside neighborhoods. The line opened on February 3, 1918, and was the first line to use the Twin Peaks Tunnel. Route description At West Portal station, inbound K Ingleside trains become T Third Street trains. The line follows West Portal Avenue to Saint Francis Circle, where it then runs on its own right-of-way in the median of Junipero Serra Boulevard to Ocean Avenue. The K then follows Ocean Avenue until it reaches Balboa Park station, where it circles around the Metro yard at San Jose and Geneva Avenue, with the actual terminal stop alongside the station. Operation The K Ingleside begins service at 5 a.m. on weekdays, 6 a.m. Saturdays and 8 a.m. Sundays, with the end of service occurring around 12:30 a.m. each night. Ingleside (Ridgeway, Virginia)
Ingleside is a historic house at 500 Mica Road in Henry County, Virginia, north of Ridgeway. It is a two-story wood-frame house with a mix of Greek and Gothic Revival features. It has a basically square shape, with three bays divided by vertical boards that resemble pilasters. Its gables are adorned with Gothic scalloped vergeboard. Its interiors include distinctive painted finishes, include a fireplace mantel painted to resemble gold-veined black marble. The house is believed to have been built in the 1870s by a member of the Penn family, who were recorded as the landowners in the late 1870s. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999. Ingleside Vineyards is a winery located in the Northern Neck George Washington Birthplace AVA, an American Viticultural Area located in the Northern Neck region of Virginia. Ingleside is one of the oldest and largest wineries in the state, established in 1980, and part of an estate of over owned by the Flemer family since 1890. History The farmhouse, originally known as Washington Academy, was built in 1834, and is a two-story, five-bay, brick building with a pedimented hexastyle front portico. Flanking the two-story central block are one-story wings. The Washington Academy operated until about 1844, and the property sold in 1847. Ingleside is a city in Nueces and San Patricio Counties in the U.S. state of Texas. Its population was 9,519 at the 2020 census. Ingleside was the home to Naval Station Ingleside. On August 24, 2005, the BRAC Committee voted to close the base. In 2010, the main base property was turned over to the Port of Corpus Christi.
