Ingleside is a historic home located at 10920 Rodophil Road ( SR 620) in Rodophil, an unincorporated community in western Amelia County, Virginia. The main section of the house was built about 1824, and is a -story, single-pile frame building. It has a two-story, single-pile frame addition added about 1840. The house is in a late Federal style. Rodophil is a rural unincorporated community in western Amelia County in the U.S. state of Virginia. It is located in Leigh District at the intersection of SR 616 (S. Genito Road) and the southern terminus of SR 620 (Rodophil Road). It straddles the border of ZIP codes 23002 ( Amelia Court House, the county seat, 13 miles east by road) and 23083 (Jetersville, 8 miles southeast by road). Rodophil is served by Amelia County Volunteer Fire Department Company 5, in Paineville, 3 miles northeast. Amelia County is a county located just southwest of Richmond in the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States. The county is located in Central Virginia and is included in the Greater Richmond Region.
