Ingelin Noresjø (born 21 March 1976) is a Norwegian politician for the Christian Democratic Party (Norway), Christian Democratic Party. Early life and education She hails from Fauske and took her education at Bodø University College and the University of Western Australia. Political career In 2011, she entered politics, being elected member of Fauske municipal council (Norway), municipal council and Nordland County Municipality, Nordland county council (Norway), county council. She progressed into the Subnational parliamentary system in Norway , county government of Nordland where she served as County Commissioner of Culture, Environment and Public Health from 2015 to 2020. She was then a State Secretary (Norway), State Secretary in the Ministry of Transport (Norway), Ministry of Transport from 2020 to 2021, serving in Solberg's Cabinet. The Christian Democratic Party ( nb, Kristelig Folkeparti, nn, Kristeleg Folkeparti, se, Risttalaš Álbmotbellodat, , KrF) is a Christian-democratic political party in Norway founded in 1933. The party is an observer member of the European People's Party (EPP). It currently holds three seats in the Parliament, having won 3.8% of the vote in the 2021 parliamentary election. The current leader of the party is Olaug Bollestad. The Christian Democrats' leader from 1983 to 1995, Kjell Magne Bondevik, was one of the most prominent political figures in modern Norway, serving as Prime Minister from 1997 to 2000 and 2001 to 2005. Under the old leadership of Bondevik and Valgerd Svarstad Haugland, the party was to some extent radicalized and moved towards the left.
