Ingebrigt Davik
Ingebrigt Davik (14 April 1925 – 29 January 1991) was a Norwegian teacher, children's writer, broadcasting personality, singer and songwriter. Biography Davik was from the island Fjørtofta in Haram municipality on Sunnmøre. He was the son of Nils Johan Gerhard Davik (1888–1954) and Johanna Josefine Inga Olsdatter Fjørtoft (1888–1959). The family moved to Brattvåg when he was 6 years old. He trained as a teacher at Hamar and later as a music educator. He also studied drama at Rogaland Teater in Stavanger. He worked for the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation from 1959, and made children's programs both for radio and television. He made several television programs based on the children's songs of Margrethe Munthe. Davik's greatest success was "Taremare by" which was listed as a musical at Det Norske Teatret in Oslo and at Den Nationale Scene in Bergen several times in the 1960s and 1970s, and also produced as a cartoon for NRK Television 1978. Haram, Norway
Haram is a former municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It was part of the Sunnmøre region. The administrative center was Brattvåg, the industrial center of Sunnmøre. Other important villages in the municipality included Austnes, Eidsvik, Helle, Longva, Hildrestranda, Søvik, Tennfjord, and Vatne. Brattvåg IL is a sports club based in the municipality. ''Tennfjord Mannskor'' is a male choir from the village of Tennfjord. The Ulla Lighthouse and Hellevik Lighthouse are both located in the northwestern part of the municipality. At the time if its dissolution in 2020, the municipality is the 294th largest by area out of the 422 municipalities in Norway. Clangers
''Clangers'' (usually referred to as ''The Clangers'') is a British stop-motion children's television series, consisting of short films about a family of mouse-like creatures who live on, and inside, a small moon-like planet. They speak only in a whistled language. They eat only green soup (supplied by the Soup Dragon) and blue string pudding. The programmes were originally broadcast on BBC One between 1969 and 1972, followed by a special episode which was broadcast in 1974. The series was made by Smallfilms, the company set up by Oliver Postgate (who was the show's writer, animator and narrator) and Peter Firmin (who was its modelmaker and illustrator). Knut Helle
Knut Helle (19 December 1930 – 27 June 2015) was a Norwegian historian. A professor at the University of Bergen from 1973 to 2000, he specialized in the late medieval history of Norway. He has contributed to several large works. Early life, education and marriage He was born in Larvik as the son of school inspector Hermann Olai Helle (1893–1973) and teacher Berta Marie Malm (1906–1991). He was the older brother of politician Ingvar Lars Helle. The family moved to Hetland when Knut Helle was seventeen years old. He took the examen artium in Stavanger in 1949, and a teacher's education in Kristiansand in 1952. He studied philology in Oslo and Bergen, and graduated with the cand.philol. degree in 1957.
