Ingebrigt Davik
Ingebrigt Davik (14 April 1925 – 29 January 1991) was a Norwegian teacher, children's writer, broadcasting personality, singer and songwriter. Biography Davik was from the island Fjørtofta in Haram municipality on Sunnmøre. He was the son of Nils Johan Gerhard Davik (1888–1954) and Johanna Josefine Inga Olsdatter Fjørtoft (1888–1959). The family moved to Brattvåg when he was 6 years old. He trained as a teacher at Hamar and later as a music educator. He also studied drama at Rogaland Teater in Stavanger. He worked for the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation from 1959, and made children's programs both for radio and television. He made several television programs based on the children's songs of Margrethe Munthe. Davik's greatest success was "Taremare by" which was listed as a musical at Det Norske Teatret in Oslo and at Den Nationale Scene in Bergen several times in the 1960s and 1970s, and also produced as a cartoon for NRK Television 1978. Ingebrigt Håker Flaten (born 23 September 1971 in Oppdal, Norway) is a Norwegian double bass, bassist active in the jazz and free jazz genres. (in Norwegian) Store Norske Leksikon (in Norwegian) Career Flaten played electric bass in local funk trio ''Neon'' (1990), and studied on the Jazz program at Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Trondheim Music Conservatory (1992–94). He was involved in several groups from the first year at Norwegian University of Science and Technology, NTNU, including ''Trondhjems Kunstorkester'', ''To brumbasser og en bi'', and the successful group ''The Source''. With the latter Ornette Coleman inspired band he recorded records ''Olemanns kornett'' (1994) and "... of Christmas' (1995), toured in northern Europe and had a festival gigs together with such different constellations as ''Motor Psycho'' and ''Cikada Quartet'' (both in 1995). Ingebrigt Haldorsen Sæter
Ingebrigt Haldorsen Sæter (24 June 1800 – 3 May 1875) was a Norwegian politician and farmer with connection to the ''peasant opposition'' and the democracy movement. He was Member of The Norwegian Parliament for 40 years with disruption of parliamentary sessions 1859–60 and 1862–63, as he was deputy representative. Biography Youth Sæter was born in Oppdal. He grew up in a haugiansk influenced environment at the farm Bøasæter in Oppdal and went to a moving school (moving from place to place at random intervals), which offered limited learning. The parish priest Cornelius Thomas Rønnau, was a source of salvation. He made a great contribution towards education, training and rural development, and ensured that children received additional training. Ingebrigt Steen Jensen (born 9 May 1955) is a Norwegian writer, consultant, advertising man and football official. Steen Jensen is educated at the University of Oslo where he studied English, Norwegian, and political science. He has worked in advertising since 1982. During the 1990s Steen Jensen took part in the building of JBR advertising agency, which was sold to IPG (InterPublic Group) under the name McCann-Erickson Advertising; now known as McCann Worldgroup, Norway, and Dinamo. He has worked both for and in Stabæk Fotball for a number of years. He is otherwise known for his book ''Ona fyr'' ("Ona lighthouse") from 2002, which is about leadership, leadership techniques and motivation. Ingebrigt Vik
Ingebrigt Vik (5 March 1867 – 22 March 1927) was a Norwegian sculptor. Vik is regarded as having been one of Norway's greatest sculptors from the first part of the 20th century. Biography Ingebrigt Vik was born in the village of Øystese in the municipality of Kvam, Hordaland county, Norway. He was the son of Hans Gunnarson Tveit (1832–1901) and Ingebjørg Torgeirsdotter Vik (1841–1902). He grew up in Øystese and began as a wood carver in his father's factory. He trained as an artist at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen from 1889 to 1891. After surgery for tuberculosis in his left knee, he returned home to recover. In 1903 he moved to Paris and attended Académie Colarossi where he trained with sculptor Jean Antoine Injalbert. In 1906, he was assigned the Houens legat and studied in Italy. Ingeberg is a village in Hamar Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The village is located about north of the village of Ridabu and about northeast of the town of Hamar.
