Infamous (Abandon All Ships Album)
''Infamous'' is the second studio album by Canadian electronicore band Abandon All Ships. It was released on July 3, 2012, through Rise Records. On January 18, 2012, the band announced that they were in the process or recording their second studio album, which they initially intended for a late-spring or early-summer release. The album's lead single, "Infamous," features guest rap vocals by Canadian rapper A-Game. A music video for the song was released on May 1, which the band described as "very Toronto." On June 12, "Good Old Friend" was available for streaming. ''Infamous'' debuted at number 142 on the ''Billboard'' 200, selling more than 3,500 copies within its first week of release, while also reaching number 54 on the Canadian Albums Chart. Abandon All Ships
Abandon All Ships is a Canadian metalcore band from Toronto, Ontario. Formed in 2006, it was signed domestically to Universal Music Canada via Underground Operations, along with an American deal to Rise Records and its imprint Velocity Records. History Formation and First EP (2006–2009) Abandon All Ships was founded in 2006 in Toronto, Ontario, originally playing covers of Norma Jean songs. Most of the band members attended Dante Alighieri Academy, including lead vocalist Angelo Aita, keyboardist Sebastian Cassisi-Nunez, and original guitarist David Stephens; Toronto friends Martin Broda and Francesco Pallotta were added on bass and drums respectively. Liferuiner
Liferuiner was a Canadian straight edge metalcore group from Greater Toronto Area, formed in 2004. In August 2008, a new lineup appeared going under the name xLIFERUINERx (which had been the Canadian band's name when they first started out). This lineup had an entirely unrelated group of members based out of upstate New York - fans would thus refer to this group as 'Liferuiner US' in a method of distinguishing between the two entities, which for certain periods of time co-existed in tumultuous fashion. This version of the band has since disbanded. In early 2010 the Canadian incarnation of Liferuiner, fronted by original member and vocalist Jonny O'Callaghan, announced a return.
