Indra Bhavanam
''Indra Bhavanam'' is a 1991 Indian Telugu drama film written, edited and directed by Krishna who also enacted the lead character alongside Krishnam Raju, Meena, Jyothi and Kota Srinivasa Rao. Bappi Lahiri scored and composed the film's soundtrack album. The film is a remake of the 1990 Bollywood film Swarg which was loosely based on the 1967 film, Mehrban which was a remake of the 1960 Tamil film, Tamizh film Padikkadha Medhai which itself was a remake of the 1953 cinema of west bengal, Bengali film Jog Biyog, the film adaptation of a novel named Jog Biyog (novel), ''Jog Biyog'' by Ashapoorna Devi. Krishna Ghattamaneni
Ghattamaneni Siva Rama Krishna Murthy (31 May 1943 – 15 November 2022), known mononymously as Krishna, was an Indian actor, director and producer known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema. In a film career spanning five decades, he starred in more than 350 films in a variety of roles. He is referred to as "Superstar" in the Telugu media. In 2009, the government of India honoured him with the Padma Bhushan for his contributions to Indian cinema. He was elected as a Member of Parliament for the Congress party in 1989. In 1997, he received the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award – South in addition to Honorary doctorate from Andhra University in 2008. He died on 15 November 2022 due to cardiac arrest. ''Jog Biyog'' is a popular Bengali language novel of Ashapurna Devi. This story initially named as ''Baje Khoroch'' was published by Calcutta Book Club in 1953 and the plot is adapted into number of Indian films. Nagoor Babu, known by his stage name Mano, is an Indian playback singer, voice-over artist, actor, producer, television anchor and composer. He is a recipient of several awards such as the Nandi Awards from the Government of Andhra Pradesh and Kalaimamani award from the Government of Tamil Nadu. Ashapurna Devi (8 January 1909 – 12 July 1995), also Ashapoorna Devi or Ashapurna Debi, was a prominent Indian novelist and poet in Bengali. In 1976, she was awarded the Jnanpith Award and Padma Shri by the Government of India, D.Litt. by the Universities of Jabalpur, Rabindra Bharati, Burdwan and Jadavpur. Vishwa Bharati University honoured her with Deshikottam in 1989.
