Indian Summer (record Producer)
Indian Summer is an electronic music project of Australian record producer, DJ, songwriter, and radio personality Gabe Gleeson; it was previously a duo with Chevy Long. He has performed at Splendour In The Grass, Field Day, Falls Festival, and Beyond The Valley. As of 2020, he also releases music under the pseudonym Gabe Ruth through Medium Rare Recordings. His 2022 single 'Make Your Move' was added to rotation on Triple J Unearthed Radio. Biography 2012 saw Indian Summer signed to Australian electronic label Sweat It Out! Music! Music by its late founder DJ Ajax, they embarked on their first Australian tour and were listed among FBi Radio's most played artists the following year. In 2014 they were invited to perform at SXSW, toured the United States, were named as one of MTV Australia's top producers of the year and mixed Sweat It Out! DJ Ajax
Adrian Thomas (5 August 1971 – 28 February 2013), better known as DJ Ajax, was an Australian Electronic Dance Music DJ known for playing a wide range of styles, including electro, techno and electroclash. Career Thomas was a radio show host for Sunsets (Bang Gang Show) on FBI Radio 94.5 and a founding member of Australian collective Bang Gang. He toured France, USA and the UK in 2006 for Modular UK and released a remix/mix CD package Spin City through Tinted Records. Triple J (stylised in all lowercase) is a government-funded, national Australian Radio in Australia, radio station intended to appeal to listeners of alternative music, which began broadcasting in January 1975. Beyond The Valley Festival
Beyond The Valley (commonly known as BTV) is a multi-day music festival held annually at Gippsland Parklands in Lardner, Victoria, Australia over the New Year's Eve period. It has previously taken place at Phillip Island Circuit, Phillip Island and Lardner Park, Warragul. History In 2019 the festival launched a fundraiser campaign to support those affected by the 2018-2019 Australian bushfire season. Later that year, organisers received site management related criticism amid extreme weather conditions during the event. The festival's official website stated that the 2020 event won't take place between 28 Dec and 01 Jan 2021 and director Nicholas Greco has commented that it is being placed on hiatus caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Falls Music & Arts Festival (commonly known as Falls) is a multi-day music festival held annually in Lorne (Victoria), Marion Bay (Tasmania), Byron Bay (New South Wales) and Fremantle (Western Australia), Australia over the New Year's Eve and January period. The festival hosts contemporary music performances, dance, comedy, theatre, circus, cabaret, and other art forms. Splendour in the Grass (commonly referred to as Splendour) is an annual Australian music festival held at the North Byron Parklands in Yelgun, New South Wales. Since its inauguration, the festival has also been held in various locations near Byron Bay, New South Wales, and Woodford, Queensland.
