The India men's national under-18 basketball team, is controlled by the Basketball Federation of India and represents India in international under-18 (under age 18) basketball competitions. Its best performance to date was 4th place at the 1972 Asian Basketball Under-18 Championship. The Basketball Federation of India (BFI) is the governing and controlling body of basketball in India. It is responsible for the development and promotion of the sports authority of India at all levels. The 2022 FIBA U18 Asian Championship was an international under-18 basketball competition that was held in Tehran, Iran from August 21 to 28.
