Independiente Del Valle
Club de Alto Rendimiento Especializado Independiente del Valle, known simply as Independiente del Valle, is a professional football club based in Sangolquí, Ecuador, that currently plays in the Ecuadorian Serie A. Founded in 1958, the club plays its home games at Estadio Banco Guayaquil, which opened in March 2021 and has a capacity for 12,000. In the 2013 Ecuadorian Serie A Independiente finished runners-up, and they won their first league title in 2021. In CONMEBOL competitions, it reached the final of the 2016 Copa Libertadores after famously defeating powerhouses River Plate and Boca Juniors, it won its first ever title in 2019, Three years later the club would become one of the few two-time Sudamericana champions after defeating São Paulo in the 2022 final. Martín Anselmi
Martín Rodrigo Anselmi (born 11 July 1985) is an Argentine football manager, currently in charge of Ecuadorian club Independiente del Valle. Early life Born in Rosario, Santa Fe, Anselmi played youth football for Ferro Carril Oeste. He also have a journalism degree at DeporTEA in Buenos Aires, but never worked in the profession. Career Anselmi began his career with Excursionistas' youth setup in 2015, and had a brief stint at CAI before being invited by Gabriel Milito to join his staff at Independiente in 2016. In 2017, Anselmi joined Atlanta as Francisco Berscé's assistant. In the following year, he moved abroad and was named in charge of Ecuadorian side Universidad Católica del Ecuador's reserve team. In 2019, after a short period at Real Garcilaso, Anselmi returned to Ecuador and became Miguel Ángel Ramírez's assistant at Independiente del Valle. Junior Nazareno Sornoza Moreira (born 28 January 1994 in Portoviejo) is an Ecuadorian footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Ecuadorian Serie A club Independiente DV and the Ecuador national team. The Ecuadorian Football Federation ( es, Federación Ecuatoriana de Fútbol or ) is the governing body of football in Ecuador. Its headquarters are in Quito, and it organizes the country's various football competitions and oversees the Ecuador national team. The 2014 Copa Libertadores de América (officially the 2014 Copa Bridgestone Libertadores for sponsorship reasons) was the 55th edition of the Copa Libertadores de América, South America's premier international club football tournament organized by CONMEBOL. Atlético Mineiro were the defending champions, but were eliminated by Atlético Nacional in the round of 16. The 2013 Copa Sudamericana (officially the 2013 Copa Total Sudamericana for sponsorship reasons) was the 12th edition of the Copa Sudamericana, South America's secondary international club football tournament organized by CONMEBOL. Piero Martín Hincapié Reyna (born 9 January 2002) is an Ecuadorian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen and the Ecuador national team.
