Incredicoaster
Incredicoaster is a steel roller coaster at Disney California Adventure in Anaheim, California. Manufactured by Intamin, it opened to the public as California Screamin' in 2001. It is the only roller coaster at the Disneyland Resort with an inversion, and is the fastest at the park with a top speed of . At 6,072 feet long, is the 6th longest sit down roller coaster in the world as of 2022. At 122 feet high, it is the tallest roller coaster of any Disney resort. California Screamin' closed on January 8, 2018, and reopened as the Incredicoaster on June 23, 2018, inspired by the 2004 computer-animated film ''The Incredibles'' and its 2018 sequel ''Incredibles 2''. Pixar Pier
Pixar Pier is a themed land at Disney California Adventure, based on that of Victorian boardwalks that were once found along the coast of California. Despite its name and the presence of a nearby man-made lake, Pixar Pier is not actually a pier, but a waterside area of the park. Incredicoaster sprawls across much of the area, with various other attractions and forms of entertainment scattered around it. The area opened as Paradise Pier in 2001 along with the rest of the theme park. A new attraction, Toy Story Midway Mania!, opened on June 17, 2008. The attraction was the first in a series of theming upgrades to the land and park as a whole. The Intamin brand name is a syllabic abbreviation for "international amusement installations". Gary Hoey (born August 23, 1960) is an American hard rock and latterly blues rock guitarist, singer and songwriter. He has recorded over 20 albums and had five Top 20 ''Billboard'' hits. Early life and early career Hoey was born in Lowell, Massachusetts, United States. George Wilkins (composer)
George Wilkins is an American soundtrack composer who has created several noteworthy scores and songs for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. Career Wilkins got his start in the music industry as a backup vocalist and vocal arranger for Patti Page during the 1950s. In the 1960s, he also co-founded the vocal group the Doodletown Pipers. By this time, Wilkins broke out as a composer for film and television with his work on the Rankin/Bass productions of ''Return to Oz'' (1964) and ''The Wacky World of Mother Goose'' (1967). The generic roller coaster vertical loop, where a section of track causes the riders to complete a 360 degree turn, is the most basic of roller coaster inversions. At the top of the loop, riders are completely inverted. History The vertical loop is not a recent roller coaster innovation.
