Incinery
Incinery are a British thrash metal band from the Midlands. Founded in early 2009 by guitarists Jason Chaikeawrung and Chris Kenny, Incinery consist of five members. Their music has been described as the speed and ferocity of 80s thrash metal injected with a more modern edge. The band has been compared with Exodus (American band), Exodus, Sodom (band), Sodom, and early Sepultura. History Early years and formation (2009-2014) Building a reputation for high-energy performances, Incinery toured their first EPs ''Dawn of War'' (2011) and ''Nothing Left'' (2013) and won the 'Metal 2 the Masses' initiative in 2012, resulting in a live performance on the New Blood Stage at Bloodstock Open Air#BOA 2012, Bloodstock Open Air festival. Following this performance, bassist Dominic Bishop was fired from the band, a decision made to allow founding member David Jordan to rejoin. Bloodstock Open Air
Bloodstock Open Air is a British heavy metal music, heavy metal rock festival, festival held annually at Catton Hall in Walton-on-Trent, Derbyshire, since 2005. Originally held indoors for one day with two stages, the festival started in 2001 at the Derby Assembly Rooms and has expanded over the years. It became an outdoor event in 2005. By 2019, it had five stages and a capacity of 15,000. History Originally on one stage only, the festival expanded to incorporate a second stage in 2006. Known simply as The Unsigned Stage, it was designed to provide a platform for the next generation of metal talent to reach a wider audience. Chris Tsangarides
Christopher Andrew Tsangarides (17 August 1956 – 6 January 2018) was a British Grammy-nominated record producer, sound engineer, and mixer of Greek Cypriot origin. He was best known for his work with many heavy metal artists, including Gary Moore, Thin Lizzy, Judas Priest, Helloween, Anvil, Angra, Anthem, Yngwie Malmsteen, and Tygers of Pan Tang. Tsangarides worked with many pop and alternative artists as well, including Depeche Mode, Tom Jones, Concrete Blonde, and The Tragically Hip. Metaldays
Metaldays is a heavy metal music festival held annually in Tolmin, Slovenia, since 2004. The festival has been more popular every year with more media coverage and in order to not let it grow too big, in 2010 the tickets were limited to 12,000. The festival was organized by Austrian promoter Rock the Nation and Slovenian Master of Metal (MOM d.o.o.). 2012 was the last year when the name METALCAMP was used. Since 2013 the festival is called METALDAYS. The venue is the same, but the organizer has changed. Metaldays is organized by Slovenian promoter MIFI d.o.o. Location The festival is located at Sotočje, Tolmin, Slovenia, which lies in-between the two mountain rivers called Tolminka and Soča. METALDAYS has two festival-reserved beaches and a camping area. Bonded By Blood (band)
Bonded by Blood is an American thrash metal band, named after Exodus' debut album ''Bonded by Blood''. Like its labelmates Evile, Gama Bomb, and Municipal Waste, Bonded by Blood is part of the thrash metal revival movement. The band was founded in mid-2005 by vocalist Jose Barrales, who with the help of friends completed the band's original lineup with guitarist Alex Lee, guitarist Juan Juarez, bassist Ruben Dominguez, and drummer Carlos Regalado. In 2006 Bonded by Blood won a battle of bands that featured over 250 musical groups. With the contest prize, the band recorded the demo ''Four Pints of Blood'' and a year later they self-financed the recording of the EP ''Extinguish the Weak'', releasing the songs through their MySpace page. Rock City is a music venue and nightclub located in Nottingham, England. It is owned by venue operator and concert promoter DHP Family. It opened in December 1980, first hosting The Undertones, and has gone on to host some of the biggest names in alternative music, as well as maintaining a number of weekly club nights.
