The inauguration of Luis Lacalle Pou as the 42nd president of Uruguay took place on 1 March 2020 in Montevideo and marked commencement of the term of Luis Lacalle Pou as president and Beatriz Argimón as vice president. Francisco José Debali
Francisco José Debali (26 July 1791 – 13 January 1859), born Debály Ferenc József, was a Hungarian-born composer who emigrated to Uruguay in 1838. He authored the national anthem of Uruguay and, possibly, the tune to '' Paraguayos, República o Muerte'', which became the Paraguayan anthem. (See National Anthem of Uruguay#Music.) Alen Roberti Simonyan ( hy, Ալեն Ռոբերտի Սիմոնյան; born 5 January 1980) is an Armenian politician currently serving as the president of the National Assembly of Armenia since 2 August 2021. Felipe Solá (born 23 July 1950) is an Argentine agricultural engineer and politician. He previously served as Governor of Buenos Aires Province, from 2002 to 2007, and as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship under President Alberto Fernández, from 2019 to 2021. A presidential sash is a cloth sash worn by presidents of many nations in the world. Such sashes are worn by presidents in Africa, Asia, Europe and, most notably, in Latin America. The sash is an important symbol of the continuity of the presidency, and is only worn by the president.
