Ina Wolf
Ina Wolf (born Christina Ganahl on 9 October 1954 in Lochau, Vorarlberg, and also known as Christina Simon and Anne-Christie) is an Austrian singer and composer. Career 1970s In the 1970s, Wolf released music under her birth name as well as under the stage names Anne-Christie and Christina Simon. As Christina Simon, she was selected to represent Austria in the Eurovision Song Contest 1979 with the entry " Heute in Jerusalem". The song featured lyrics by André Heller and music by Peter Wolf. The song tied for last place (18th), receiving five points. 1980s Based in the U.S. throughout the 1980s, Ina Wolf was a lyricist on numerous hits by performers such as Chicago, Kenny Loggins, Paul Young, Sergio Mendes, Lou Gramm, Natalie Cole, Pointer Sisters and Nik Kershaw. Lochau
Lochau is a municipality in the westernmost Austrian state of Vorarlberg. It is located on Lake Constance, in the Bregenz district, near the border to Germany. About 50.3% of the municipality's area is forest. The Pfänder, the landmark mountain of the neighboring municipality of Bregenz, also lies within Lochau's boundaries. In the west, the Leiblach river forms the border to the German county (Landkreis) of Lindau. History The Habsburgs ruled over their Vorarlberg lands alternately from Tyrol and Further Austria. "Sara" is a song recorded by the American rock band Starship which reached number-one on the U.S. ''Billboard'' Hot 100 chart on March 15, 1986. It was sung by Mickey Thomas, of the newly renamed band Starship, from their first album ''Knee Deep in the Hoopla''; for this single, Grace Slick provided the backing vocals. The Eurovision Song Contest 1979 was the 24th edition of the annual Eurovision Song Contest.
