In Fiction were an Australian five-piece melodic rock band from Adelaide. Having formed in 2005, In Fiction signed to Boomtown Records in 2006 with their debut release '' The Four Letter Failure'' and featured as Triple J's "Next Crop" artist as part of AusMusic Month. ''The Four Letter Failure'' peaked at number 86 on the Australian ARIA Charts and stayed in the top 100 for five weeks. In March 2007, the group released ''Ghost'' which peaked at number 85 on the ARIA Chart. In Fiction frequently tour Australia with a number of bands, including The Matches, Bodyjar, Behind Crimson Eyes and Kisschasy. In Fiction also play many festival tours including the 2007 Vans Boys Of Summer Tour, both the 2006 and 2007 Boomtown Showdown tours, the 2008 Adelaide Soundwave Festival and 2008 Push Over Festival. Melodic Rock

Boomtown Records
Boomtown Records was an independent record label founded by Jaddan Comerford in October 2002 and based in Melbourne, Australia. In 2011 the label was rebranded with Staple Management to new company, UNFD. History The label was established by Jaddan Comerford when he was 18, after being inspired by thriving independent labels like Epitaph Records. After operating the label out of his basement, Comerford moved into an office building in 2005. In March 2006 Comerford established the Staple Group with two arms; that being Artist Management (Behind Crimson Eyes, The Getaway Plan, Horsell Common and Antiskeptic) and Marketing, which focuses on direct, street level and viral internet marketing (with clients including Warner Music Australia and Hurley Clothing). Triple J (stylised in all lowercase) is a government-funded, national Australian Radio in Australia, radio station intended to appeal to listeners of alternative music, which began broadcasting in January 1975. The Matches
The Matches are an American rock band from Oakland, California, active from 1997 to 2009. Formed as the Locals, the group changed their name after five years to avoid conflict with a Chicago band of the same name. As the Matches, they self-released their debut album '' E. Von Dahl Killed the Locals'' in 2003, then signed to Epitaph Records who re-released it the following year. Bodyjar
Bodyjar are an Australian pop punk band which formed in 1990. They began performing under the name Bodyjar in 1994; their previous names included Damnation (1990–91) and Helium (1992–93). The latter group released an album, ''You Can't Hold Me Down'', in October 1992. As Bodyjar their original line-up were Cameron Baines on vocals and guitar; Ben Petterson on vocals and guitar; Grant Relf on vocals and bass guitar; and Charles Zerafa on drums. In 1995 Ross Hetherington (ex-Bastard Squad, Swamp Rats) replaced Zerafa on drums. In 1999 Tom Read replaced Petterson on guitar and in 2004 Hetherington made way for Shane Wakker on drums. Behind Crimson Eyes
Behind Crimson Eyes is a band based in Australia. The band formed in Melbourne, Australia, in 2004. Their line-up currently consists of vocalist Josh Stuart, bassist Garth Buchanan, guitarist/ back up vocalist Aaron Schultz and Dan Kerby as drummer. Band history Since forming in 2004, Behind Crimson Eyes has played the Melbourne leg of the Taste Of Chaos tour in 2005, after which they sold out all but one show on their national headline tour, clocking up over 150 shows in 2005. Kisschasy
Kisschasy are an Australian rock band that formed in Melbourne, Victoria in 2002. Their line-up consists of lead vocalist Darren Cordeux, bassist Joel Vanderuit, guitarist Sean Thomas and drummer Karl Ammitzboll. The band released two gold certified studio albums, two extended plays, a documentary DVD and a compilation album in their initial 10-year career, selling in excess of 90,000 records. Band history Formation and early releases Kisschasy formed in 2002. Three of the four members of the band grew up near the small country town of Balnarring in the Mornington Peninsula of Victoria.
