Michael Constantine
Michael Constantine (born Gus Efstratiou (Ευστρατίου); May 22, 1927 – August 31, 2021) was an American actor. He is most widely recognized for his portrayal of Kostas "Gus" Portokalos, the Windex bottle-toting Greek father of Toula Portokalos (Nia Vardalos), in the film ''My Big Fat Greek Wedding'' (2002). Earlier, he earned acclaim for his television work, especially as the long-suffering high school principal, Seymour Kaufman, on ABC's comedy-drama, ''Room 222,'' for which he won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series in 1970; he was again recognized by the Emmy Awards, as well as the Golden Globe Awards, the following year. Paul Busch is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played for Eastern Suburbs. Busch played first-grade for Eastern Suburbs in 1990 and 1991, as a five-eighth and fullback. Simon Scott (September 21, 1920 – December 11, 1991) was an American character actor from Monterey Park, California. He was best known for his role as Arnold Slocum on '' Trapper John M.D.'' and as General Bronson on ''McHale's Navy''. Career Scott became a company member at Peninsula Players Theatre in Fish Creek in 1950, Wisconsin using the name Dan Scott prior to his Hollywood success. He performed in many stage productions with the theater, including the 1948 production of ''The Second Man'', the 1950 production of '' You Can't Take it With You'' and the 1963 production of ''The Night of the Iguana''. Scott starred in the early episodes of ''Markham'' as John Riggs, the title character's sidekick. However the character of Riggs was dropped after only eight episodes. Ivor Barry
Ivor Barry (12 April 1919 – 12 December 2006) was a Welsh film and television actor. Born in South Wales, Barry served with the British Royal Artillery during World War II and completed his university studies prior to beginning his acting career. After bit parts in England, he moved to Canada in the early 1950s where he also wrote and adapted scripts for radio as well acting in television. He eventually moved to Hollywood in the 1960s, and made many television and film appearances over the next 25 years. He played the part of Wyatt (Ilan Mitchell-Smith) and Chet (Bill Paxton) Donnelly's grandfather in the 1985 film '' Weird Science''. Eugene "Gene" Dynarski (September 13, 1933 – February 27, 2020) was an American actor. Three of the most popular projects that he has been involved with were two Steven Spielberg films, ''Duel'' and ''Close Encounters of the Third Kind'', and the Westwood Studios computer game '' Command & Conquer: Red Alert''. Harry Landers (born Harry Sorokin; September 3, 1921 – September 10, 2017) was an American character actor. He was born in New York City. Early life and career Landers's education came at Public School No. 202 and Thomas Jefferson High School in Brooklyn. During World War II, Landers served in the United States Merchant Marine. In the mid-1940s, he began his career as a worker at the Warner Bros. studio in California. An encounter with actress Bette Davis led to a membership of Screen Actors Guild and an acting career. He started out as an extra and was largely uncredited. He studied at the Actors' Laboratory Theatre, known for its left-wing political affiliation. Émile Genest (July 27, 1921 – March 19, 2003) was a Canadian actor. Career Born in Quebec City, Quebec, as a young man Genest served with the Royal Canadian Navy during World War II. At war's end, he worked for a time in radio in his hometown before accepting a job with CBC radio in Montreal where he would eventually become a sportscaster, working in both French and English. Genest turned to acting and in his early years played a son on the immensely popular French-language radio show, ''La famille Plouffe'' and on its follow-up television series. In 1961 he had a significant role in the first of several films for Walt Disney Pictures.
