In-Quest
In-Quest is a Belgian technical death metal band. Formerly signed with Good Life Recordings, the band were active since the early 1990s, with Sven de Caluwe of Aborted as a singer from 2002 to 2004. He was replaced by Swedish singer Mike Löfberg from Blockhead (Swedish band), Blockhead. They released five albums and two EPs, with their final album called ''8: The Odyssey Of Eternity'' released on August 8, 2013. On February 12, 2014 the band split up. In-Quest have played at a number of festivals in Belgium and the Netherlands, such as Frostrock, Euroblast, Xmass Festival, Flanders Fields of Death, Arnhem Metal Meeting, and (alongside bands like Slipknot (band), Slipknot, Fear Factory, Nile (band), Nile, Motörhead, Saxon (band), Saxon, and Ensiferum) Graspop Metal Meeting in 2005 (Metal Dome), 2006 (Marquee 1) and 2009 (at Mainstage). Also in 2006, In-Quest opened for Fear Factory, on their "Fifteen Years of Fear" tour. They also supported Nile in 2005 on their EU tour. Member ...

Graspop Metal Meeting
Graspop Metal Meeting is a Belgian heavy metal festival held in Dessel each year since 1996, excluding 2020 and 2021 due to covid restrictions. Despite the small size of the festival grounds (upholding a perimeter of only ~4 km) the festival draws a large number of spectators from around Europe, with a total of 220,000 visitors in 2022, up from 200,000 visitors over the course of the 2019 edition, and 152,000 in 2015. History Graspop was not originally a heavy metal festival; rather, it was conceived as a local family rock festival, first organised in 1986. In 1995, the headliners were Joe Cocker and Simple Minds. However, due to the public being oversaturated with family festivals, the number of visitors had dropped to an all-time low. Founder Peter Van Geel realized that mainstream rock music held insufficient appeal to festival visitors.
