In-Public
In-Public (sometimes written iN-PUBLiC) is an international group of street photographers that operates as a collective. It was established in 2000 by Nick Turpin with the intention of bringing together like minded photographers to hold exhibitions, produce books and conduct workshops and promote street photography. It was the first international collective of street photographers, its geographically disparate membership facilitated by the Internet. New members were accepted but the recruitment process was "haphazard and organic". Jesse Marlow
Jesse Marlow (1978) is an Australian street photographer, editorial and commercial photographer who lives and works in Melbourne. Marlow's personal work has been published in three books of his own, and in various books with others; it has been exhibited in a number of solo exhibitions in Australia, and group exhibitions internationally; and is held in the public collections of the City of Melbourne, and the State Library of Victoria, both in Melbourne, Australia. He won first prize in the 2011 London Street Photography Festival's International Street Photography Award, and in the 2012 Bowness Photography Prize. Paul Russell (born 1966) is a British street photographer, based in Weymouth, Dorset. He was a member of the In-Public international street photography collective. Russell's work has been published in his own publications, the book ''Eastleigh By-election 2013'' and the zines ''On Weymouth Beach'' and ''Country Show'', and in a few survey publications on street photography. Nick Turpin
Nick Turpin (born 1969) is a British street photographer and advertising and design photographer. He is based in London and near Lyon, France. Turpin established the first international collective of street photographers, In-Public, in 2000 and was a member until 2018. His work has been published in his own book, ''On The Night Bus'' (2016) and in various survey publications, as well as being included in a number of group exhibitions. Blake Andrews (29 December 1968) is an American Street photography, street photographer and blogger based in Eugene, Oregon. Andrews was a member of the In-Public street photography collective. Melanie Einzig (born 1967) is an American photographer known for her street photography in and around New York City, where she has lived since 1990. Einzig was a member of the first incarnation of the In-Public street photography collective, from 2002. David Gibson (1957) is a British street photographer and writer on photography. He was a member of the In-Public street photography collective. David Solomons (born 31 December 1965) is a British street photographer. Richard Bram
Richard Bram (born 1952) is an American street photographer. He is based in London and was a member of the In-Public street photography collective. Bram has published two books of candid public photographs: ''Street Photography'' (2006), a compact collection of black and white photographs taken around the world from 1988 to 2005; and ''New York'' (2016), "like a greatest-hits album" of work made between 2005 and 2015 whilst living in New York City. Maciej Dakowicz (born 20 November 1976) is a Polish street photographer, photojournalist and gallerist. He is from Białystok in North East Poland. Dakowicz is best known for his series of photographs of Cardiff night-life titled ''Cardiff after Dark''. He and others set up and ran Third Floor Gallery in Cardiff and he was a member of the In-Public street photography collective. Life and work Dakowicz studied computer science in Poland (2000).
