Imre Pichler
Imre László Pichler (22 January 1947 – 19 October 2014) was a Hungarian teacher and politician, member of the National Assembly (MP) for Szigetvár (Baranya County Constituency VII) from 2002 to 2006 and from 2010 to 2014. Biography He finished Zrínyi Miklós Secondary School at Szigetvár in 1965. He graduated from the Teacher Training College of Pécs in 1973. He took up employment in Dencsháza as a primary school teacher of biology and PE in 1973, then spent two years in Primary School No. 1 of Szigetvár. He was a PE teacher in the No. 509. (later renamed as Török Bálint) Vocational and Secondary Technical Institute of Szigetvár from 1976. Parallel to his job he graduated from the Physical Education College of Budapest in 1983, after two years of studies. National Assembly Of Hungary
The National Assembly ( hu, Országgyűlés, lit=Country Assembly) is the parliament of Hungary. The unicameral body consists of 199 (386 between 1990 and 2014) members elected to 4-year terms. Election of members is done using a semi-proportional representation: a mixed-member majoritarian representation with partial scorporo, compensation via transfer votes and mixed single vote; involving single-member districts and one list vote; parties must win at least 5% of the popular vote in order to gain list seats assembly. The Assembly includes 25 standing committees to debate and report on introduced bills and to supervise the activities of the ministers. Fidesz – Hungarian Civic Alliance (; hu, Fidesz – Magyar Polgári Szövetség) is a right-wing populist and national-conservative political party in Hungary, led by Viktor Orbán. It was formed in 1988 under the name of Alliance of Young Democrats () as a centre-left and liberal activist movement that opposed the ruling Marxist–Leninist government. It was registered as a political party in 1990, with Orbán as its leader. It entered the National Assembly following the 1990 parliamentary election, although, it lost two seats after the 1994 election. Following the election, it adopted liberal-conservatism which caused liberal members to leave and to join the Alliance of Free Democrats. 2010 Hungarian Parliamentary Election
Parliamentary elections were held in Hungary on 11 and 25 April 2010 to elect the members of the National Assembly. They were the sixth free elections since the end of the communist era. 386 Members of Parliament (MPs) were elected in a combined system of party lists and electoral constituencies. Electoral law in Hungary requires candidates to gather 500 signatures from citizens supporting their candidacy. In the first round of the elections, the conservative party Fidesz won the absolute majority of seats, enough to form a government on its own. In the second round, the alliance of Fidesz and the Christian Democratic People's Party (KDNP) won enough seats to achieve a two-thirds majority required to modify major laws and the country's constitution. Sándor Lezsák
Sándor Lezsák (born 30 October 1949) is a Hungarian poet, teacher and politician. Between 2 April 2012 and 10 May 2012, Lezsák was temporarily the Speaker of the National Assembly of Hungary, as the resignation of Pál Schmitt led to Speaker László Kövér becoming acting President of Hungary. Teaching and literary career He was born in Kispest on 30 October 1949. He graduated Madách Imre Secondary School, Budapest in 1968. Between 1969 and 1974 he worked as a support teacher in the school for children living in farmsteads in the Lakitelek area. He graduated in Hungarian literature and language and history from the Szeged Teacher Training College in 1975. He was a primary school teacher from 1974. He worked as a desk officer for, and led the drama group of, the community centre in Lakitelek between 1969 and 1985.
