Alex Joffé
Alex Joffé (18 November 1918 – 18 August 1995) was a French film director and screenwriter, known for ''Les cracks'' (1968), ''Fortunat'' (1960) and ''La grosse caisse'' (1965). He was the father of the director Arthur Joffé, as well as Marion (born 1952) and Nina (born 1956). Alex Joffé was born on 18 November 1918 in Alexandria, Egypt, as Alexandre Joffé. He was married to Renée Asseo. on his mother's side, he is related to author and journalist Salomon Malka, the biographer of Emmanuel Lévinas and Franz Rosenzweig, and theatre professor, director and playwright Avraham Oz. Shmuel Rodensky
Shmuel Rodensky ( he, שמואל רודנסקי, 10 December 1902 – 16 July 1989) was a Russian-born Israeli actor whose stage, film, and television career in Israel and West Germany spanned six decades. He immigrated to Mandatory Palestine in 1924 and studied drama at the Eretz Israel Theatre in Tel Aviv. After performing with several theatre companies between 1928 and 1948, he joined Habima Theatre in 1949 and became one of its principal players. He was known as "the Israeli Laurence Olivier". In 1968 Rodensky traveled to Hamburg to join the German-language production of ''Fiddler on the Roof'' (titled ''Anatevka''), playing the lead role of Tevye the Dairyman. He performed this role more than 1,400 times throughout West Germany and Switzerland. Yaakov Bodo ( he, יעקב (יענק'לה) בודו; born 28 March 1931) is an Israeli actor and comedian. Biography Yaakov (Yankele) Bodo was born in Romania in 1931 and spoke only Yiddish until the age of 7. He immigrated with his family to Israel in 1950 and settled in Afula. His grandparents were Zionists who helped establish Kfar Hasidim and Kiryat Haroshet (now part of Kiryat Tiv'on) after they emigrated to Mandate Palestine in 1933. Bodo is married with three children and has five grandchildren. He is married to his wife and personal manager, Ester, whom he met in Afula.
