Impact Wrestling Code Red
Code Red was a professional wrestling event produced by Impact Wrestling, in conjunction with House of Glory, which aired exclusively on Impact Plus. It was the first special for Impact Plus, a streaming service launched as a successor to the Global Wrestling Network. The event took place on May 5, 2019 at the NYC Arena in New York City, New York. Eight professional wrestling matches were contested at the event featuring wrestlers from Impact Wrestling and HOG. The main event was an oVe Rules match between Sami Callihan and Tommy Dreamer. Impact Wrestling (stylized as ''IMPACT! Wrestling''), is an American professional wrestling promotion based in Nashville, Tennessee. It is a subsidiary of Anthem Sports & Entertainment. Founded by Jeff and Jerry Jarrett in 2002, the promotion was initially known as NWA: Total Nonstop Action (''NWA-TNA'') and was associated with the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), though not an official member. Richard Allen Swann (born February 15, 1991) is an American professional wrestler currently signed to Impact Wrestling. He is a former Impact World Champion, TNA World Heavyweight Champion, Impact X Division Champion and Impact Digital Media Champion. The Crist Brothers were an American professional wrestling tag team consisting of brothers David Crist Jr. and John Crist, who are best known by their ring names Dave Crist and Jake Crist, they are best known for their time with Impact Wrestling where Jake was a one-time Impact X Division Champion. Ohio Versus Everything (OVE, stylized as oVe) was an American professional wrestling stable that consisted primarily of Sami Callihan, Dave Crist, Jake Crist, and Madman Fulton. The group's name is based on all four members hailing from the state of Ohio - the Crist Brothers are from New Carlisle (billed from nearby Dayton), Callihan is from Bellefontaine (West Central Ohio), and Fulton is from Toledo. The Impact World Tag Team Championship (formally known as the TNA World Tag Team Championship) is a professional wrestling world tag team championship which is owned by the Impact Wrestling promotion. The Latin American Xchange (LAX) is a professional wrestling stable that has wrestled in various incarnations primarily for Total Nonstop Action / Impact Wrestling and currently in Major League Wrestling (MLW). The group achieved initial success as a stable consisting of Konnan, Hernandez and Homicide. Puerto Rican wrestler Apolo was a brief original member, who was later replaced by Machete.
