Joseba Imanol Idiakez Barkaiztegi (born 14 March 1972) is a Spanish former Association football, footballer who played as a midfielder, currently Manager (association football), manager of CD Leganés. Playing career Born in San Sebastián, Gipuzkoa, Idiakez finished his development with Real Sociedad, making his senior debut with Real Sociedad B, the reserves and also playing alongside his younger brother Iñigo Idiakez, Iñigo. After leaving ''Sanse'', he joined neighbouring SD Beasain. Idiakez resumed his career mainly in the Segunda División B, representing Real Avilés, Burgos CF (two stints), Ciudad de Murcia – appearing half a 2003–04 Segunda División, season in the Segunda División– CD Linares, Girona FC and CF Reus Deportiu, retiring in 2007 at the age of 35 due to a serious injury. AEK Larnaca FC ( el, AEK; for short Αθλητική Έvωση Κίτιον Λάρνακας , translit=''Athletiki Enosi Kition Larnakas'', "Athletic Union Kition of Larnaca") is a Cypriot professional football club based in Larnaca. The club was formed in 1994 after a merger of two historical Larnaca clubs, EPA Larnaca and Pezoporikos. The club also has a men's basketball team, a women's volleyball team and a men's futsal team. Club Lleida Esportiu is a Spanish football team based in Lleida, in the autonomous community of Catalonia. Founded in July 2011 it plays in Segunda División RFEF – Group 3, holding home games at Camp d'Esports, with a capacity of 13,500 seats. Segunda División B ( en, Second Division B) was the third tier of the Spanish football league system containing 102 teams divided into five groups, until it was replaced by the new structure in 2021. It was administered by the Royal Spanish Football Federation. It was below the top two professional leagues, the ''Primera División'' (also known as La Liga) and the '' Segunda División'', and above the ''Tercera División''. Iñigo Idiakez
Iñigo Idiakez Barkaiztegi (born 8 November 1973) is a Spanish former footballer who played as a midfielder or forward, and is a manager. Beginning his career at Real Sociedad, he appeared in 254 official matches during his tenure while competing in ten La Liga seasons (36 goals scored). In his homeland, he also represented Segunda División clubs Oviedo and Rayo Vallecano. He moved to England in 2004 at the age of 30, where he represented Championship teams Derby County, Southampton and Queens Park Rangers, retiring in 2008; he played for Spain at under-21 and under-23 levels. Idiakez went into coaching in 2009, working at amateur level in Spain before signing with Apollon Limassol from Cyprus as assistant manager. A midfielder is an outfield position in association football. Midfielders may play an exclusively defensive role, breaking up attacks, and are in that case known as defensive midfielders.
