Imagine Entertainment (formerly Imagine Films Entertainment), also known simply as Imagine, is an American film and television production company founded in November 1985 by producer Brian Grazer and director Ron Howard. Background Brian Grazer and Ron Howard met in 1982 on '' Night Shift'', with Howard directing and Grazer co-producing. They followed it up by working on 1984's ''Splash''. ''Gung Ho'' (released in Australia as ''Working Class Man'') is a 1986 American comedy film directed by Ron Howard and starring Michael Keaton. The story portrayed the takeover of an American car plant by a Japanese corporation (although the title is an Americanized Chinese expression, for "work" and "together"). Most of the movie was filmed on location in the Pittsburgh area with additional scenes shot in Tokyo and Argentina. A short-lived TV series based on the film, followed in 1987.
