''Imagine Dragons'' is the eponymous second extended play (EP) by the American pop rock band of the same name, released on August 24, 2009. It was recorded at Battle Born Studios. All songs were written and produced by Imagine Dragons. Engineering was done by Robert Root. Tracks from the EP featured on Windows Media Player after the band won a competition on Reverbnation. The track "I Need a Minute" cracked the CMJ Radio 200. "Cover Up" appears on various deluxe editions of the band's debut album ''Night Visions''. On October 15, 2021, the EP was re-released onto streaming platforms with the previously unreleased bonus track "Hole Inside Our Chests". Release On June 26, 2009 the band released the first song "Uptight" on MySpace. On July 24th, they released two songs "I Need A Minute" and "Cover Up". Imagine Dragons is an American pop rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada, consisting of lead singer Dan Reynolds, guitarist Wayne Sermon, bassist Ben McKee and drummer Daniel Platzman. Daniel Coulter Reynolds (born July 14, 1987) is an American singer and songwriter. He is the lead vocalist of the pop rock band Imagine Dragons. Reynolds also released an EP in 2011, titled ''Egyptian – EP,'' as a duo with his former wife Aja Volkman under the moniker Egyptian (band), Egyptian. He is a recipient of the Songwriters Hall of Fame#Hal David Starlight Award recipients, Songwriters Hall of Fame Hal David Starlight Award. Early life Reynolds was born in Las Vegas, the seventh of nine children (eight boys and one girl) of Christene M. (née Callister) and Ronald Reynolds, a lawyer and author. Both are natives of Nevada, and Reynolds is a 4th generation Nevadan. As a Boy Scouts of America, Boy Scout he earned the rank of Eagle Scout (Boy Scouts of America), Eagle Scout in 2005. Andrew Tolman (born January 9, 1986) is an American studio musician and songwriter. He is a member of the cult club band The Moth & The Flame. He was also a founding member of the pop rock band Imagine Dragons. In 2016–17, Andrew went on tour with Mondo Cozmo as part of the backing band along with Drew Beck, Chris Null, and James Gordon. Ben McKee
Benjamin Arthur McKee (born April 7, 1985) is an American musician, songwriter, and record producer. He is the bassist for the pop rock band Imagine Dragons. Early life McKee was raised in Forestville, California, and graduated from El Molino High School. He grew up playing acoustic guitar and violin, before picking up acoustic bass in fifth grade. In high school, he continued learning bass guitar as a member of a jazz trio, which influenced his decision to attend Berklee College of Music. While at Berklee, McKee played in a guitar performance ensemble with future Imagine Dragons bandmates Wayne Sermon and Daniel Platzman. Daniel Wayne Sermon (born June 15, 1984) is an American musician, songwriter, and record producer. He is the lead guitarist for the pop rock band Imagine Dragons. Early life Sermon was born on June 15, 1984 in American Fork, Utah to parents Jeff and Debbie Sermon. He is one of five children and grew up a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints but has since left the church. As a youth, Sermon learned to play both cello and guitar. He was determined to be a guitarist even as a child. His father had an audio-phile quality amplifier, a record player, and all of The Beatles albums on vinyl, which Sermon enjoyed listening to.
