''A Passage into Forlorn'' is the second studio album by Canadian death metal band Neuraxis. It was released on May 11, 2001, by Neoblast Records. It was released almost four years after the band's debut and features a new line-up, with only founding members guitarist Steven Henry and bassist Yan Thiel as returning members. Like their debut, the album was self-released through the band's own label, Neoblast Records. After the band's signing with Galy Records and Earache Records, a compilation album was released featuring both ''A Passage into Forlorn'' and ''Imagery'' remastered. Neuraxis (band)
Neuraxis is a Canadian technical death metal band formed in Montreal in 1994 by Steven Henry, Yan Thiel, Michel Brisebois and Felipe Ángel Quinzanos. They have released six studio albums: ''Imagery'' (1997), '' A Passage into Forlorn'' (2001), '' Truth Beyond...'' (2002), '' Trilateral Progression'' (2005), '' The Thin Line Between'' (2008), and '' Asylon'' (2011). In 2007, the band participated in the Domination Tour alongside Rotting Christ, Incantation and Malevolent Creation. After touring, the band released a live album entitled '' Live Progression''. Earache Records is a British independent record label, music publisher and management company founded by Digby Pearson in 1985, based in Nottingham, England, with offices in London and New York.
