Imageepoch
was a video game developer based out of Tokyo, Japan. The company filed for bankruptcy in 2015, due to its declining sales and debt. History The company was founded in June 2005 by Ryoei Mikage. Their first release was the tactical role-playing game on Nintendo DS, ''Luminous Arc''. In April 2015, Gematsu reported that Idea Factory's Yoshiteru Sato shared that he was unable to reach Mikage privately and confirming that the Imageepoch CEO had gone missing. In the same article, Ryoei Mikage's Twitter account was noted as being inactive publicly for months. The following month, Imageepoch was confirmed to have gone bankrupt. Imageepoch closed their doors and reopened as Mikage LLC. Arc Rise Fantasia
''Arc Rise Fantasia'' is a 2009 role-playing video game co-developed by Imageepoch and Marvelous Entertainment for the Wii. It was published in Japan by Marvelous Entertainment in 2009 and in North America by Ignition Entertainment in 2010. A planned European release through Rising Star Games was cancelled. The storyline, set in a fantasy world split between hostile factions beset by attacks from destructive Feldragons, protagonist L'Arc Bright Lagoon allies with the priestess Ryfia after he is chosen as a Child of Easa who will remake the world. Gameplay features a growing party led by L'Arc navigating both an overworld and dungeon environments, taking part in turn-based battles. Production lasted three years, with Nintendo approaching the developers to create an RPG for the Wii. The team included '' Tales'' scenario writer Takumi Miyajima, and artists Kenichi Yoshida and Shin Nagasawa. Sol Trigger
is a role-playing video game developed by Imageepoch for the PlayStation Portable. It was released in Japan on October 4, 2012. Gameplay The game is a turn based RPG. It features gameplay mechanics such as "Sol System", where the players can activate characters' "Sol Power" to activate special moves that become stronger the more they are used. "Sol Power" can also be traded away in order to revive teammates in battle as well, similar to the game '' Soul Sacrifice''. Additional skills can be learned by equipping new weapons. Story The game is set in a distant future, based around the fictional city "Kaiserhald". In the game's world, "Sol" has the power to create miracles, but is hoarded by Kaiserhald and its "Machine Church". The "Sol Trigger" is a group of people who oppose their corrupt use of the "Sol", and they fight to stop them. Development A Japanese trademark for the name ''Sol Trigger'' was first registered in November 2011, and the game was first announced in May 2012 ...
