''Image Is Everything'' is Jughead's Revenge's fourth studio album, released in 1996. It was the band's first release on the label Nitro Records (owned by The Offspring's Dexter Holland), who would release the rest of their albums before their indefinite hiatus in 2001. Jughead's Revenge is an American punk rock band. They originally formed in Los Angeles, California, United States, in 1989. To date, Jughead's Revenge has released six studio albums (the most recent being 1999's ''Pearly Gates''). After 12 years of recording and touring extensively, Jughead's Revenge disbanded in 2001 due to a lawsuit with Archie Comics who owned the rights to fictional character Jughead Jones. The band reformed in 2009 and has continued to perform at a number of live shows since 2010, and as of 2018 were working on a new album. Dexter Holland
Bryan Keith "Dexter" Holland (born December 29, 1965) is an American musician who is the lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist, primary songwriter and last remaining original member of the American rock band the Offspring. He is also the creator of the hot sauce Gringo Bandito, launched in 2004. In 2017, Holland attained a PhD in molecular biology. Early life and education Holland attended Pacifica High School in Garden Grove, California, where he graduated as class valedictorian in 1984. During high school, Holland was the best student in mathematics in his year, and he found it "just as exciting as punk rock". He then attended the University of Southern California, where he earned a B.S. degree in biology, a M.S. degree in molecular biology, and eventually a Ph.D. in molecular biology in 2017. Joe Doherty (born October 1, 1970) is the American lead for Jughead's Revenge, a punk rock band from Los Angeles, California, United States. He was involved in that band until first breakup in 2001, and is part of their 2009 reunion. Biography Jughead's Revenge After Doherty met guitarist Joe Rimicci and bassist Brian Preiss at a COA band practice, he started Jughead's Revenge in 1989, when he was only 18 and a half years old. Cited as one of the seminal California punk groups, Jughead's Revenge released six full-length albums and was active until 2001, when they were forced to split up after a lawsuit from Archie Comics, which led the band to change their name to Jugg's Revenge. The Misfits are an American punk rock band often recognized as the pioneers of the horror punk subgenre, blending punk and other musical influences with horror film themes and imagery. Released in 1981 on the Misfits' EP ''3 Hits from Hell'', the song was written by frontman and vocalist Glenn Danzig while in jail in Brixton, England with then-Misfits guitarist Bobby Steele. After having traveled to the United Kingdom for an ill-fated tour with the British punk rock group the Damned in late 1979, Danzig and Steele were arrested for their involvement in a fight, inspiring them to create the song. The Offspring
The Offspring is an American rock band from Garden Grove, California, formed in 1984. Originally formed under the name Manic Subsidal, the band's current lineup consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Bryan "Dexter" Holland, lead guitarist Kevin "Noodles" Wasserman and bassist Todd Morse.
