''Im Hero'' is the debut studio album by South Korean singer Lim Young-woong, released on May 2, 2022, through Mulgogi Music and distributed by Dreamus. It was preceded by the single "Our Blues, Our Life", which topped the Gaon Digital Chart on release, and accompanied by the second single "If We Ever Meet Again", which also debuted atop the Gaon Digital Chart. The album was released in four physical versions and debuted atop the Gaon Album Chart upon release. According to Gaon, ''Im Hero'' sold over 772,000 copies in South Korea in its first week of retail availability. It won Album of the Year at the 2022 Melon Music Awards. Lim Young-woong
Lim Young-woong (; born June 16, 1991) is a South Korean trot, ballad and pop singer, entertainer and YouTuber. He signed with Mulgogi Music in 2016 and debuted as a singer with his first single "Hate You". Four years later, he rose to stardom after competing on the reality television show '' Mr. Trot'', where he won the first place out of 17,000 applicants. In 2021, Lim achieved his first number-one song on the Gaon Digital Chart with the single "My Starry Love". Since his debut in 2016, Lim has released one studio album and one collaborative medley album, scoring four Gaon Digital Chart number-ones. Lee Juck (; born February 28, 1974) is a South Korean singer, lyricist, composer and arranger. Biography Lee Juck was born in Seoul and attended Banpo High School. He graduated from Seoul National University with a major in sociology. The 2022 Genie Music Awards was held at the Namdong Gymnasium in Incheon, South Korea on November 8, 2022.
