Iliyan Mitsanski
Iliyan Mitsanski ( bg, Илиян Мицански; born 20 December 1985) is a Bulgarian former professional footballer who played as a striker. He played 17 times for the Bulgaria national team. Career In Bulgaria Mitsanski started his professional football career at Pirin 1922. In the 2004–05 season, he earned 29 appearances playing in the B PFG and scored 21 goals. In June 2005, he moved to Polish club Amica Wronki. In the first round of 2006–07 season he was loaned out to Korona Kielce, but was not able to reach the first squad there. Zagłębie Lubin In June 2008, Mitsanski transferred to Zagłębie Lubin. In the 2008–09 season, he became the top goalscorer for the team in the Polish First League with 26 goals, helping his team win promotion. Sandanski ( bg, Сандански ; el, Σαντάνσκι, formerly known as Sveti Vrach, bg, Свети Врач, until 1947) is a town and a recreation centre in south-western Bulgaria, part of Blagoevgrad Province. 2008–09 I Liga
The 2008–09 I liga was the 61st season of the second tier domestic division in the Polish football league system since its establishment in 1949 and the 1st season of the Polish I liga under its current title (new name). Formerly, the league was known as the II liga (while the current II liga was known as the III liga). The league was operated by the Polish Football Association (PZPN). The league was contested by 18 teams who competing for promotion to the 2009–10 Ekstraklasa. The regular season was played in a round-robin tournament. The champions and runners-up will receive automatic promotion. At the other end, the bottom four teams face automatic demotion to the II liga, while the fate of the 13th and 14th-place finishers will be decided by playoffs.
