Iliya Milanov
Iliya Ventsislavov Milanov ( bg, Илия Венциславов Миланов; born 19 February 1992) is a Bulgarian footballer who plays as a defender for Dunav Ruse. His twin brother Georgi Milanov is also a footballer. Career Litex Lovech Born in Levski, Pleven Province, Milanov began playing football at the local club, before joined the Litex Lovech Academy, together with his twin brother Georgi, in 2005. He was part of a group of young players at the club who guided the club to win the Bulgarian U-17 Championship in June 2009. On 3 December 2009, Milanov made his Litex first-team debut in a 4–0 away win over Pirin Gotse Delchev in the Bulgarian Cup, coming on as a substitute in the 72nd minute. Levski, Pleven Province
Levski ( bg, Левски ) is a town in central northern Bulgaria, an administrative center of the homonymous Levski Municipality in the very southeast of Pleven Province. Geography Levski Municipality is located on a territory of 414 km2 in the Danubian plain, Tuchenishko-Dolnoosomski region. The predominant relief in the municipality is the plain relief - the town of Levski is located at about 70 m above sea level. The distance to the regional town of Pleven is 50 km. Bulgarian Cup
The Bulgarian Cup ( bg, Купа на България, Kupa na Bulgaria) is a Bulgarian annual football competition. It is the country's main cup competition and all officially registered Bulgarian football teams take part in it. The tournament's format is ''single-elimination'', with all matches being one-legged, except the semi-finals. The competition's winner gets the right to take part in the UEFA Europa Conference League. If the winner has already secured a place through the Bulgarian A Professional Football Group, the team that has come ''fourth'' in the championship substitutes it. The competition has been dominated by Sofia-based teams. The Sofia teams have won together a total number of 65 titles. The three most successful teams are Levski Sofia (26 cups), CSKA Sofia (21 cups) and Slavia Sofia (8 cups). The current cup holders are Levski Sofia, who beat CSKA Sofia 1–0 in the 2022 final. Georgi Iliev (footballer, Born 1981)
Georgi Iliev ( bg, Георги Илиев; 5 September 1981) is a Bulgarian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder from 2000 to 2019, notably for Cherno More Varna, where he made over 350 appearances for the club in all competitions. Iliev is the second highest scorer for Cherno More in the Bulgarian top league with 71 goals. His playing career included also spells at Lokomotiv Plovdiv and CSKA Sofia. Iliev holds the record for the highest number of appearances in the Bulgarian top league, with 461 – 318 for Cherno More, 86 for Lokomotiv and 57 for CSKA. 2017–18 Bulgarian Cup
The 2017−18 Bulgarian Cup was the 36th official edition of the Bulgarian annual football knockout tournament. The competition began on 19 September 2017 with the first round and finished with the final on 9 May 2018. Botev Plovdiv were the defending champions, but lost on away goals in the semi-finals to Slavia Sofia. Slavia later won the final on penalties against Levski Sofia, thus acquiring its eight Bulgarian Cup in its history. The club also qualified for the first qualifying round of the 2018–19 UEFA Europa League. FC Montana
FC Montana ( bg, ФК Монтана) is a Bulgarian association football club based in Montana, which currently plays in the Second League, the second level of Bulgarian football league system. Montana plays its home matches at the Ogosta Stadium, which has a capacity of 8,000 spectators. The club's traditional colours are blue, white and red. After a prolonged period of absence, they were propelled back into professional football in the mid 90s with the help of some experienced and talented footballers, including the ex-captain of English Aston Villa and Bulgarian international Stiliyan Petrov. Nikolay Bodurov
Nikolay Georgiev Bodurov ( bg, Николай Георгиев Бодуров; born 30 May 1986) is a Bulgarian professional footballer who plays for Pirin Blagoevgrad and the Bulgarian national team. Bodurov plays mainly as a centre back but has also played as a right back on some occasions. He started his professional career at his hometown club Pirin Blagoevgrad, playing five seasons before moving to Litex Lovech in 2009, with whom he won two league titles. In 2014, he signed with Fulham for a fee in the region of €1 million and then spent time on loan at Midtjylland during the 2015–16 season.
