Ilio Colli
Ilio Colli, vulgo Paor (May 30, 1931 – February 21, 1953), was a skier from Italy. He represented his native country at the 1952 Winter Olympics in Oslo, where he came in eighteenth in the men's downhill event. Colli, fourth of six children of Vincenzo Colli and his wife Dimai Costanza, née Piero de Jenzio Dea, was born in Cortina d'Ampezzo. He was killed when he crashed into a tree during a ski race at in Madesimo. The Hawaiian Poi Dog ( haw, ʻīlio or ''ʻīlio mākuʻe'') is an List of extinct dog breeds, extinct breed of pariah dog from Hawaii, Hawaiʻi which was used by Native Hawaiians as a spiritual protector of children and as a Dog meat, source of food. History The original Hawaiian poi dog were descended from the Polynesian Dog, Polynesian dogs brought to the Hawaiian Islands by the Polynesian people. Genetic studies on the Kurī, New Zealand Kurī dog indicate that the origin of this dog (and therefore probably the Hawaiian dog) is Indonesia. Madesimo (, called Isolato until 1983) is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Sondrio in the Italian region Lombardy, located about north of Milan and about northwest of Sondrio, on the border with Switzerland.
