Bruno Corbucci
Bruno Corbucci (23 October 1931 – 7 September 1996) was an Italian screenwriter and film director. He was the younger brother of Sergio Corbucci, and wrote many of his films. He was born in Rome, where he also died. The vast majority of his directorial efforts are lowbrow comedies. He also directed ''I figli del leopardo'', a parody of ''Il gattopardo''. His biggest success came with the long-running "Nico Giraldi" series, which starred Tomas Milian as a foul-mouthed Roman policeman. His 1971 film '' Io non spezzo... rompo'' was shown as part of a retrospective on Italian comedy at the 67th Venice International Film Festival. Mario Carotenuto
Mario Carotenuto (30 June 1916 – 14 April 1995) was an Italian actor of film and theatre. Biography Carotenuto, the son of a silent film actor and younger brother of the actor Memmo Carotenuto, took various humble jobs for many years before starting his own artistic career in 1946, first as a radio actor and then joining small avanspettacolo companies. He made his film debut in 1950, in ''Abbiamo vinto'', going on to perform as leading or supporting actor in dozens of films, often comedies. He was also very active on stage and television. Renzo Montagnani (September 11, 1930 – May 22, 1997) was an Italian actor and voice actor. Biography Montagnani was born in Alessandria, Piedmont, and debuted as theatre actor thanks to the help of Erminio Macario. His first cinema success was his dramatic role in ''Metello'' (1970), but he later switched to the commedia all'italiana with his roles in the last two chapters of the '' Amici miei'' series (1982 and 1985). In the 1980s he also participated to a TV show as Don Fumino, an easy-speaking Tuscan parish priest. Biography He was born in the Apulian city of Andria and at the age of three, moved to Canosa di Puglia. Lino Banfi became one of the most well-known actors in Italian "sexy comedies" in the 1970s.
