Il Marsigliese
''Il marsigliese'' is a 1975 Italian miniseries produced by Radiotelevisione Italiana. It was directed by Giacomo Battiato and stars Marc Porel as Pierre Toril and Lina Polito as Vicenzina Sannataro. The miniseries tells about events linked to the fight for the control of cigarette smuggling between the Neapolitan, Sicilian and Marseilles crime families in Naples in the 1970s. Renato Mori
Renato Pietro Mori (May 29, 1935 – August 22, 2014) was an Italian actor and voice actor. Biography Born in Milan, Mori started his career in the 1950s, appearing on several television series and acting on stage. Starting from the 1970s, he was often cast in roles of inspectors, police commissioners and men in uniform in poliziotteschi and crime films and TV-series, notably '' Il marsigliese'' and '' La piovra''. Mori was also very active as a voice actor and a dubber. A co-founder of Sefit, the largest Italian company of dubbing, he was the official Italian voice of Morgan Freeman as well as often dubbing James Earl Jones and John Rhys-Davies, among other actors. He also substituted for his colleague Sergio Fiorentini as the Italian voice of Gene Hackman. Personal life Mori was the father of Simone Mori, who is also a voice actor. Corrado Gaipa
Corrado Gaipa (13 March 1925 – 21 September 1989) was an Italian actor and voice actor. Gaipa was a well known actor of Italian cinema as well as dubbing voices. However, he was widely known for his role as Don Tommasino in ''The Godfather''. Biography Born in Palermo, Gaipa enrolled in the Silvio d’Amico Academy of Dramatic Arts, where he studied for three years and performed an adaptation of the play '' You Can't Take It with You''. He then graduated in 1946. In 1948, Gaipa joined a theatre group based in Rome and he began doing radio dramas which were broadcast in many cities across Italy such as Turin, Florence and Milan. He also appeared in many films such as the 1969 film ''That Splendid November''. Internationally, he was well known for having played Don Tommasino in the 1972 film ''The Godfather'' directed by Francis Ford Coppola. Biagio Pelligra (born 24 June 1937, in Comiso) is an Italian stage, film and television actor. Life and career Born in Comiso, Province of Ragusa, Pelligra started his acting career in the second half of the sixties, and after several minor roles he got his first role of weight in 1972, in Marco Leto's ''Black Holiday''. Giuseppe Anatrelli (3 January 1925 – 29 November 1981), also known as Geppino Anatrelli, was an Italian film, stage and television actor. Born in Naples, he was part of the Eduardo De Filippo theatrical company between 1953 and 1959.
