Mariano Laurenti (15 April 1929 – 6 January 2022) was an Italian film director and actor. Career He started as a script supervisor and later became an assistant director for, among others, Mauro Bolognini and Stefano Vanzina. He directed 50 films between 1966 and 1999, being mainly active in the "commedia sexy all'italiana" genre. Laurenti died in Gubbio on 6 January 2022, at the age of 92. Riccardo Garrone (actor)
Riccardo Garrone (1 November 1926 – 14 March 2016) was an Italian actor, voice actor and director. Biography Garrone began his acting career in 1949 and attended the Silvio d'Amico National Academy of Dramatic Arts. He appeared in more than 140 films from 1949 until his retirement in 2014. He made his debut in the film ''Adam and Eve'' directed by Mario Mattoli. He also worked in several theatre productions alongside other actors such as Vittorio Gassman, Diana Torrieri and Elena Zareschi. Garrone often portrayed characters with persuasive, polite personalities in a variety of B movie comedies, spaghetti-westerns and horrors. In the 1980s, he made frequent stage collaborations with Antonella Steni and he made more appearances on television. Gianfelice "Gianni" Bonagura (27 October 1925 – 8 October 2017) was an Italian actor and voice actor. Life and career Born in Milan, Bonagura was active on film, stage, television and radio. He appeared in 40 films between 1950 and 2001. He arrived at the threshold of a degree in philosophy, then in 1946 he abandoned his studies to attend the Silvio d'Amico National Academy of Dramatic Arts. Essentially a stage actor, Bonagura became popular in the second half of the fifties as a radio actor, protagonist of vignettes together with Nino Manfredi and Paolo Ferrari. In cinema and television, he was only used as a character actor, with the exception of the role of Dr. Watson in the 1968 RAI television series ''Sherlock Holmes''. Tiberio Murgia (5 February 1929 – 20 August 2010) was an Italian film actor. He appeared in more than 100 films between 1958 and 2009. Biography Born into a humble family, Murgia began working as a laborer from an early age. At the age of twenty he was already a peddler for l'Unità, the newspaper of the Italian Communist Party. The managing directors of the local branch of the party recognized particular political skills in him and send him to the National School for the party leaders in Frattocchie in the province of Rome. After his return, six months later, he became the Secretary of the Young Communist League and married. After some time, however, Murgia began to entertain a relationship with a fellow party member, who was also married. Murgia was then expelled because of this clandestine affair. Nunzio Gallo
Nunzio Gallo (25 March 1928 – 22 February 2008) was an Italian singer. He was born in Naples and represented his country in the 1957 Eurovision Song Contest, coming 6th. The song he performed, "Corde Della Mia Chitarra", is famous for being the longest song ever played for Eurovision at 5:09 before the new rules came into place. Gallo was also an actor appearing in over 20 films. Gallo suffered severe brain haemorrhage in September 2007 from which he never fully recovered. He died on 22 February 2008 in Telese Terme.
