Il Cielo In Una Stanza (film)
''Il cielo in una stanza'' (''The sky in a room'') is a 1999 Italian comedy film directed by Carlo Vanzina.- Plot Paul hates his father because he was too strict with his son. One day Paul says to his father that he would prefer never to have been born and to live happy and carefree in the glorious 1960s. Paul is immediately satisfied by fate, and finds himself transported back into the 1960s, when his father was still a child. Paul immediately realizes that he desired nonsense from destiny, and tries to replace his trouble, knowing a young man (his father as a man), trying to make him fall in love with the girl of his dreams (the future mother of Paul). Carlo Vanzina
Carlo Vanzina (13 March 1951 – 8 July 2018) was an Italian film director, producer and screenwriter. Vanzina was born in Rome, the son of Maria Teresa Nati and film director Stefano Vanzina and brother of Enrico Vanzina. In English-speaking countries, he is likely best known for his 1985 giallo '' Nothing Underneath'', starring Donald Pleasence and Renee Simonsen, which received a substantial home video release and aired on cable frequently. He would effectively remake his own film in 2011 as ''The Last Fashion Show'' with Richard E. Grant. Many of his projects were made for Italian television with English-speaking actors, and in turn these films received English-language home video releases in America. Cristiana Capotondi (born 13 September 1980) is an Italian actress. Early life and career Capotondi was born in Rome to an Italian family of mixed Italian Catholic and Italian Jewish background (her maternal grandfather was Jewish).
