Ikeje Israel Asogwa, popularly known as SOGGIE-D, is a distinguished political administrator and a key player in Nigeria's democracy and Enugu State politics in particular. He is notable for his laudable work ethics, proactiveness, resilience, and commitment to grassroots empowerment. Sullivan Iheanacho Chime (born 10 April 1959) was elected governor of Enugu State in Nigeria in April 2007, taking office on 29 May 2007. He is a member of the People's Democratic Party (PDP). He was reelected on 26 April 2011. Enugu ( ; ) is the capital city of Enugu State in Nigeria. It is located in southeastern part of Nigeria. The city had a population of 820,000 according to the 2022 Nigerian census.
