Ihya Libya ( en, Reviving Libya) is a political party in Libya which was founded on 24 August 2017 by Aref Ali Nayed Aref Ali Nayed ( ar, عارف علي النايض, translit=ʿArif ʿAli al-Nayid; born 1962) is a Libyan Islamic scholar and a former Libyan Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates. Nayed is the founder and director of Kalam Research & Media (K .... Its stated aim is to create a "stable, democratic and prosperous country". After being launched, the movement became dormant, before being re-launched on 20 August 2018, when Aref Nayed announced his candidacy for the Next Libyan general election. The movement is centered around "four pillars", which are key reforms and developments it believes are necessary to create a stable Libya by 2023. Aref Ali Nayed
Aref Ali Nayed ( ar, عارف علي النايض, translit=ʿArif ʿAli al-Nayid; born 1962) is a Libyan Islamic scholar and a former Libyan Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates. Nayed is the founder and director of Kalam Research & Media (KRM), based in Tripoli, Libya and Dubai. Until the outbreak of the revolution in Libya, he lectured on Islamic theology, logic, and spirituality at the restored Uthman Pasha Madrassa in Tripoli, and supervised graduate students at the Islamic Call College there. Before the liberation of Tripoli in 2011, he was appointed by the National Transitional Council as the coordinator of the Tripoli Taskforce. When Tripoli was liberated in late August 2011, the remit was broadened and he was made the lead coordinator of the Libya Stabilization Team. The Libyan House of Representatives (HoR) ( ar, مجلس النواب, translit=Majlis al-Nuwaab, translation=Council of Deputies) is the legislature of Libya resulting from the 2014 Libyan parliamentary election, which had an 18% turnout.
