Ihor Kirienko
Ihor Serhiyovych Kiriyenko ( uk, Ігор Сергійович Кірієнко; born 5 March 1986) is a Ukrainian professional footballer who plays as a striker. Playing career Native of Nikopol, Kiriyenko is a product of its football school who played for Nikopol teams in the nation youth league in 1999–2002 (Kolos and Elektrometalurh). In 2004–2007 he represented the top league Illichivets Mariupol (later FC Mariupol), but played mostly for its reserve teams. Ihor Kiriyenko transferred to FC Kremin Kremenchuk during 2009 winter transfer window. Most notable period of his career was in 2013–2016 when Kiriyenko was playing for Hirnyk-Sport Komsomolsk and scored 46 goals. In 2013–14 Ukrainian Second League he helped Hirnyk-Sport to win the Second League and was a runner-up on the top scorer list for the season with 27 tallies. Nikopol, Ukraine
Nikopol ( uk, Ні́кополь ; from grc, Νικόπολις, lit=City of Victory) is a city and municipality ( hromada) in Nikopol District in the south of Ukraine, on the right bank of the Dnipro River, about 63 km south-east of Kryvyi Rih and 48 km south-west of Zaporizhzhia. Population: In terms of population, Nikopol is the fourth biggest city in the Dniopropetrovsk Oblast as well as among the top 50 nationwide. Football Club Mariupol ( uk, Футбольний клуб "Маріуполь" ) was a Ukrainian professional football club based in Mariupol, that competed in the Ukrainian Premier League. The club ceased to exist as a result of the Siege of Mariupol, during the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. From 2002 to 2017, the club was named Illichivets Mariupol under which it participated in European competitions. It was renamed as part of decommunization in Ukraine. The Ukrainian Cup ( uk, Кубок України) is an association football national knockout cup competition run by the Ukrainian Association of Football. The competition is conducted almost exclusively among professional clubs. Since the 2003–04 season, the Cup winner qualifies to play the Ukrainian Premier League winner for the Ukrainian Super Cup. Current format The format of this competition consists of two stages: a qualification stage with two rounds followed by the main event (four rounds and the final game). The competition involves all professional clubs plus the two finalists of the Ukrainian Amateur Cup (since 2011). Past variations of the competition involved a home-away type of elimination, but the Ukrainian Cup has since changed to a single game per round format. The Georgian Erovnuli Liga 2 ( ka, ეროვნული ლიგა 2; ), organized since 1990 by GFF, serves as the second division of professional football in Georgia. Under the current name the league was introduced for the 2017 season as a part of reorganization process of the entire league system. It was formerly known as Pirveli liga (the First league).
