Ihiala
Ihiala is a city in Nigeria, located in the southern part of Anambra State and within the region known as Igboland. It has long served as the local administrative capital of Ihiala Local Government Area. The Local Government Area has a population of about 87,796. Ihiala is the largest city in Ihiala Local Government Area which also consists of several other towns like Amorka, Azia, Lilu, Okija, Mbosi, Isseke, Orsumoghu, Ubuluisuzor and Uli. It lies in the agricultural belt of the state. Okija
Okija is the largest town in Ihiala LGA of Anambra State in Southeast Nigeria. The town is the oldest of all the towns in Ihiala local government area, and one of the biggest towns in Igboland. The people of Okija are predominantly Christians. Okija is the home to Madonna University and Legacy University. Bordered in the east by Ihembosi and Ukpor cities, within the west by olu or Ogbakubara, within the north by Ozubulu and within the south by Ihiala. In Okija, the Ulasi River on its flow to the Atlantic, joins Okposi river one of its tributaries. Culture Okija Shrine The Okija Shrine or Ogwuwu Akpu is the popular local shrine in the city. Ifeanyi Chudy Momah
Ifeanyi Chudy Momah is a Nigerian lawyer and businessman currently serving in the House of Representatives and represents Ihiala Federal Constituency, Anambra State. He is the Chairman of the House Committee on Federal Capital Territory Judiciary and a member of the Peoples Democratic Party. Early life Born in General Hospital Okija to the family of Chief Mike Momah. Ifeanyi has stated that among his siblings he was the only one to be born there. According to him, his Father Chief Mike Momah was away on a trip out of the country when his mother decided to visit Ihiala, his home town when she unexpectedly went into labor and eventually had him there. Amorka is a town in the Ihiala government area of Anambra State of Nigeria. It is located along the Onitsha-Owerri Expressway, on the border of Mgbidi Imo Statė. Uli, Nigeria
Uli is a town of historic importance situated at the extreme southeast corner of Ihiala local government area of Anambra state in Nigeria. Chinwoke Mbadinuju (born 14 June 1945) was Governor of Anambra State in Nigeria from 29 May 1999 to 29 May 2003, elected on the People's Democratic Party (PDP) platform.
