Igor Valentinovitch Tkachenko (russian: И́горь Валенти́нович Ткаче́нко, July 26, 1964 — August 16, 2009) was a Russian military pilot with the rank of Colonel, Russian Knights group leader, Chief of the 237th Guards Aviation Showing Center of the Russian Air Force at Kubinka air base. MAKS (russian: МАКС, russian: label=short for, Международный авиационно-космический салон, Mezhdunarodnyj aviatsionno-kosmicheskij salon, "International Aviation and Space Show") is an international air show held at Zhukovsky International Airport, the home of the Gromov Flight Research Institute in Zhukovsky, southeast of Moscow, Russia. The event was organized by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade until 2009, more recently by the Government of Moscow and Aviasalon. The first show, Mosaeroshow-92, was held in 1992. Since 1993, the air show was renamed as MAKS and is held biennially on odd years. MAKS is an important event for the Russian aviation industry and the Commonwealth of Independent States. Leonid Vladimirovich Elenin (russian: Леони́д Влади́мирович Еле́нин; born 10 August 1981) is a Russian amateur astronomer working with the ISON-NM observatory ( H15) via the International Scientific Optical Network (ISON), which is the first Russian remote observatory in the West. Leonid Elenin works for the Keldysh Institute of Applied Mathematics and lives in Lyubertsy, Moscow region, Russia. Leonid Elenin is best known for discovering the comet C/2010 X1 on 10 December 2010. Elenin then discovered comet P/2011 NO1 on 7 July 2011. , Elenin had discovered five comets. Main-belt
The asteroid belt is a torus-shaped region in the Solar System, located roughly between the orbits of the planets Jupiter and Mars. It contains a great many solid, irregularly shaped bodies, of many sizes, but much smaller than planets, called asteroids or minor planets. This asteroid belt is also called the main asteroid belt or main belt to distinguish it from other asteroid populations in the Solar System such as near-Earth asteroids and trojan asteroids. The asteroid belt is the smallest and innermost known circumstellar disc in the Solar System. About 60% of its mass is contained in the four largest asteroids: Ceres, Vesta, Pallas, and Hygiea. The total mass of the asteroid belt is calculated to be 3% that of the Moon. Ceres, the only object in the asteroid belt large enough to be a dwarf planet, is about 950 km in diameter, whereas Vesta, Pallas, and Hygiea have mean diameters less than 600 km.
