Igor Omrčen
Igor Omrčen (born 26 September 1980 in Split) is a retired volleyball player from Croatia. He twice became top scorer at the Men's European Volleyball League: in 2004 and 2006. Omrčen played as a professional in Italy for 12 years. Volleyball
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball. The Men's European Volleyball League is a continental volleyball competition senior men's national volleyball teams of Europe, organized by the European Volleyball Confederation ( CEV). The Wolf Dogs Nagoya () are a men's volleyball team based in Inazawa, Aichi, Japan. They play in the V.Premier League. History The club was founded in 1961 by the workers of Toyoda Gosei, one of the Toyota Motor group companies. They initially played nine-player volleyball but switched to six-player volleyball in 1982. They were promoted to the Regional League in 1984 and to the second top-level national league in 1993.
